See that? That is what we call a variable, and in the school of math and logic, I'm going to be your professor and how to view variables and statistics.

Go on, feed me something else.

Except Javier doesn't hit people.

Yes he does, he plays the run support just fine and is as a good tackler. That's exactly what Dunta Robinson is but older, slower and cant cover the ocean

Sure thing there, champ.

He was thrown at 97 times and allowed 64 completions for 835 yards. Quarterbacks had a 102.4 QB rating throwing at him.

How many attempts did the opposing team have total? Who else was thrown at? What are their numbers? How many TD's did he give up? How many were garbage time?

I bet you watch liberal news and eat up everything they spew at you, don't you?

Because you're misrepresenting facts here.

Can you explain why a player who is the worst tackler in the NFL and literally defensed ONE PASS last year and had ZERO interceptions deserves to keep his starting job?

Not much drop between Carr and arenas?

like I said Javier is not going to give up that CB2 spot to an older slower shittier version of himself, even if they overpaid for the guy.

If they bring in a CB that is actually worth the value of playing CB2 then yea sure, but it is clear as day that Dunta Robison is not a CB2 and if they gift him that position we are in for a long year

You misunderstand me.

Javier doesn't HIT people Dunta does. Dunta unloads like he is the second coming of John Lynch, he's out there to hurt people, Javier does not.

The second part of your spewage, supports the fact that he won't play free safety. If he can't cover the ocean, he can't play Free Safety.

Do you guys know the contract numbers for Dunta Robinson ?

you stand in a zone as a free safety, you dont have to cover anyone, you just have to have range.

good COVER guys require you to have good man to man skills. something Dunta gets beat like a drum at

He was injured and did not play half the season.

tell me oh great one, how did he look in 2011 and 2010 when he was healthy?

Tell me why you think he is the worst tackler in the NFL, and why he doesn't deserve a job here.

I'm more interested in that right now.

Now in fairness at the same age Dunta was a much better player than arenas.

Who gives a shit? Charles Tillman played with one of the worst offenses in football and he got thrown at MORE than Dunta Robinson. He was the 4th rated CB on that list.

Also, if you break down Robinson's numbers on a per-snap basis, he was still one of the worst in the league.

So there's basically no evidence that Dunta Robinson is good at anything except:

1. Hitting people.

2. Tackling.

Which makes him an ideal candidate to replace Kendrick Lewis, who does...neither of those things.

Dunta also got overpaid, in this case twice, for his skillset whereas Javier is still cheap for another season.

Direckshun 03-09-2013 01:38 PM

I'm changing my mind.

This was a signing designed to be a cheap one-year patch at CB, exactly like Stanford Routt was supposed to be. The Chiefs can invest their draft picks at QB, OL, WR and the front seven without having to burn very much (if anything) in the secondary.

Really?

Because I've heard opposite reports that he's better at man to man than he is int he zone, and Lewis a better zone player than man to man.

All suggesting that Dunta plays corner, and Lewis plays Free Safety.

but you need to change "one year patch"

to 3 year deal, potentially in the range of 4 to 6 million

which is absolutely awful

His stats last actually do say he's the worst tackler in the NFL. He missed a tackle for every 3 he made just terrible.
