I used to agree with this sort of thinking. Given our results, I'm starting to lean toward trusting Pinkel's process rather than stars or even offers. I'm not sold it's the best approach since we haven't won the SEC, but we are in the conversation despite our lack of recruiting stars.

6-2, 220 and has shown well at several combine events in athletic drills. I know he made the top 10 at a Houston combine earlier this year (first time I heard of him in connection to Mizzou).

It's hard to say much about a football player's offers in June before their senior year. Most of the elite guys are identified by that time, but there are a lot of good players still being evaluated at that point.

He's also a guy that changed schools and got lost in the shuffle a bit.
