Garofolo just said on NFLN that if the Chiefs did trade Peters, it would take at least a first round pick in return. Probably more.
But he also reiterated that there’s no real support to the idea that he is on the trading block. |

2019? Yeah, after a two drafts and two offseasons under Veach, along with Mahomes heading into his 3rd season, I hope like hell they're an ascending team. I just can't see it in 2018, without something miraculous happening, Because Chiefs. |
If Peters is traded, Veach has done his homework and it’ll be an incredible deal. No one thought they’d get Kendall Fuller and a 3rd round pick for Alex Smith. I think it’ll be one of the biggest trades in this franchise’s history.

I think it’s a young ascending player and a pick. My dad is a Steelers fan and I was joking and said sure I’ll trade him for JuJu and their 28th overall pick LOL |

Kelce is a hot head too. Are you going to accuse him of eventual drug use when the Chiefs put him on the trade block in a few years? He's an immature player who's an elite talent. Being a hot head player literally has zero correlation to being a drug user, but continue to beat that bullshit drum because you don't like him because he sits for an anthem. |

The Chiefs are going to have near 40 million in cap space this offseason when Tamba is gone and Alex is traded. I don't know how that quantifies as little cap space, but they have a substantial amount to work with. |

Defense was still 15th in points allowed despite a plethora of players starting that are horrible. Berry coming back as normal is the deal breaker, but a couple of nice contributors in FA and a 2nd rd pick with immediate dividends (safety) would surely make this defense top 10 in points allowed. I think Veach shares your mindset and will be making more moves to get new young talent in the next 2 months. |
