heh...that old Twins stadium....so awful.

Looks like a zoo, with the big round windows behind home plate.

As a kid it seemed like the Metrodome and Oakland Coliseum were the only stadiums I got to see the Royals play at on the local Royals TV package lol.

Caught the game in Scottsdale yesterday. Sat right off home and have to say that MJ's jewelry game is on point. Looked like a Griswold Christmas out there.

32 Spring Training games.

WHY?
Whyyyyyy

Almost twice as many fake games as real NFL football games. Would also be 40% of the NBA season. Just silly.

It'll never happen, but I think it would be cool for the Royals to retire #6 for Cain and Willie Wilson, and I could say the same thing for #29, Sweeney/Quisenberry.

I think in the end you're right but it sure seems Sherman is struggling to sell it. Those "listening" sessions have been a gigantic joke

At least NKC has Chappel's. But no it will be in East Village

Would it have a good view of the sky line from the outfield? The East Village doesn't make sense it will face the highway and whatever generic development they decide to put in

Nope. None of the sites will have a good skyline view. Home to center field must be in a northeast direction.

It's gonna happen downtown. And a skyline view is the least of it. If you plopped a better version of the existing stadium; CF crown video/scoreboard, fountains, etc, nobody is gonna give a shit about the skyline. VERY few ballparks have a lovely skyline as part of the ambience.

And for 81 days, the downtown will be flooded with people going to games, buying stupid shit, eating, drinking, etc... And Sherman will sell the team at a huge profit. And the next owner will have a real challenge on his/her hands.
