Yep. The bane of every dual threat QB. Take away the ability to make plays with their legs and most regress to average at best QBs.

Whichever WC team gets to play this joke Jaguars team/Lawrence is in a great spot for the divisional round.

Assuming no miracle happens tonight, they’ll be tied for the lead in their division.

They’re far from a lock to win it.

Watching the game, I was thinking about how desperate the fanbase was to elevate Mahomes that they tore down Jackson constantly.

He once led the NFL in TD passes. That's what a QB does. Not a RB.

He won the Heisman, meaning he was the best player in college that year.

He won the MVP in the NFL, meaning he was the best pro player that year.

There is a perception that he isn't smart enough to be a real QB, which is why running is such a big part of his game, and I hate that our fanbase feeds into what I believe is a racist notion like that.

I am sure all sorts of people on here will deny race has any part in their dislike of Lamar, but the truth is if his skin wasn't so dark, his nose wasn't so wide, and his speech wasn't so "urban" people would talk about him differently.

To me, Josh Allen and Lamar Jackson are very similar. They both have great arms, are devastating runners, and sometimes struggle with decision making, and neither will ever be a guy that make a living from the pocket.

And they basically have the same post season rep for not getting it done.

But, Josh Allen gets sympathy, and Lamar Jackson gets criticism and hatred.

Why do we need broadcasters in 2023-24?

I would rather feel like I’m at the game.

This one hundred percent.

Spags has done a pretty effective job of doing so when we've played him (for the most part).

Lamar Jackson's race has nothing to do with his inability to accurately make a pass, I'm afraid.

Jacksonville has an easy schedule but the Colts/Texans are both playing with more passion than them.

They should still take it, but I don’t see how anyone could trust this team

A large part of that is Jackson accomplished most of those accolades a half decade ago, and played to quite a lower standard comparatively from then on. Still perfectly adequate numbers as a dual threat but he's never even come close to those 2019 numbers since.

I didn't think the Jags had it in them anyway. That team is not ready for the big time.

Bucs/Panthers/Titans. They'll make it, but they'll be a waste of spot in the playoffs yet again with Lawrence at QB.

Just brutal decisions all game tonight.

Why Not? 12-17-2023 10:00 PM

Bahahahah. Lawrence is awful.

Hammock Parties 12-17-2023 10:00 PM

oh shit

TWO HUGE INJURIES for Baltimore.

They need Mitchell to give their running game more diversity.

KC_Connection 12-17-2023 10:00 PM

Just bench Lawrence.
