Did you even watch the game they played against us?

I mean, calling him a 'joke' is severe but he's certainly no sort of force multiplier. If any other QB who didn't have the hype coming off his rookie campaign that Stroud had put together a year like this, we wouldn't give him a second thought. Derek Carr was much better on a rate basis than Stroud was. So was Russell Wilson.

Stroud didn't do anything all season worth worrying about.

Its not Stroud that will keep the score close, it is the Texans D that will keep them in the game.

I'd listen to that argument.

But I'm damn sure not gonna sit here predicting a tight game because of CJ Stroud.

It's as likely as not that Spags chews him up and spits him out.

The problem the Houston defense may face is that a defense really needs the QB to be tentative to impact the game. If PM is coming out decisive, Houstons defense, as good as it is, can't touch him.

We learned that time after time after time vs. Tom Brady.

Make no mistake -- the Chiefs are in complete command of how this game will go.
