Kobe looks like complete crap in the first half. Actually everyone on the Lakers is sucking pretty bad other than Shaq.

It is a matter of his style of play. Once they did a couple of double teams on Shaq, it allowed Payton to do his job and it has worked.

Most of the calls in the first half seemed legit to me. The Lakers are just taking some stupid-ass fouls. We need to get our act together here and throw the damn rock to SHAQ! :#

The calls looked fine to me too. Shaq is having a very nice game so they will start ignoring him.

Not that NBA officiating doesn't suck hurricane-force wind sometimes... but theoretically speaking a great defensive team should always have less fouls, that's part of being a good defensive team.

I truly wasnt whining. I was merely pointing out that the foul differential is insurmountable for LA. They will surely lose if they allow the pistons to only shoot foul shots like in the 2nd period. The lakers are fouling.
