I like him but not sure he'd be a good fit opposite Berry. I actually like Antonio Allen from USCe more.

220 is about as big as they get this year.

O.city 04-27-2012 06:35 PM

We really need a back who can do it all. NOt a big banger, but can run it, catch it from the backfield and play some special teams.

There will be some vets let go between now and end of season. We're usually counting on finding a starter or two from other team's cuts, now we're just looking for depth at a couple of positions. Progress.

Taylor would be fine in the 3rd though if he's there.

Ballard is that kind of player.

DTLB58 04-27-2012 06:36 PM

Last two years Bengals are finally drafting some good players.

ChiefMojo 04-27-2012 06:36 PM

Turbin is like 5'11", 220-pounds. Looks bigger than his weight since he is like Thomas Jones Jr. with his arms being HUGE!

Why do you want a Hillis type when we have Hillis?

the Talking Can 04-27-2012 06:37 PM

anyone surprised no QBs off the board yet?

I think I'd agree with that more than with the idea of drafting a big back.

I'm wondering if Denver will take one.

O.city 04-27-2012 06:38 PM

Shit, if Lamar Miller is around in the third, I'd take him in a heartbeat.

whoman69 04-27-2012 06:38 PM

Bengals picked up someone without a blotter?

No they all suck dick.

ChiefMojo 04-27-2012 06:38 PM

Not really, I thought both Osweiler and Cousins were 3rd round guys but just was figuring teams would take them in the 2nd if scared they were going to miss out. Not very many teams need QB's, just mostly back-ups and grooming future starters now.

Nope, but I bet 2 or 3 go quick once the next one is picked.

I'm both surprised and not surprised. As you probably know, I don't like this class at all, but on the other hand, with as overvalued as the position is right now, I expected some to go the way Weeden did yesterday.

cabletech94 04-27-2012 06:38 PM

i would do terrible, terrible things to melissa starks.

those who have nfln knowwhatimean.

Frosty 04-27-2012 06:38 PM

Barry! Barry! Barry!

keg in kc 04-27-2012 06:39 PM

Wow, Barry Sanders sighting.

tk13 04-27-2012 06:39 PM

Well how about that.

O.city 04-27-2012 06:39 PM

Broyles this early? Really?

DaKCMan AP 04-27-2012 06:39 PM

Will be interesting to see what Barry Sanders Jr. does at Stanford.

keg in kc 04-27-2012 06:39 PM

I like the Broyles pick there.

chiefs1111 04-27-2012 06:39 PM

wow Broyles to the Lions.

KevB 04-27-2012 06:39 PM

Holy crap! Broyles? With that defense and Titus Young from last season?

KCrockaholic 04-27-2012 06:39 PM

Damn. I wanted Broyles for KC.

Frosty 04-27-2012 06:39 PM

So, does Randle have cooties?

the Talking Can 04-27-2012 06:39 PM

high for broyles

but i think he'll be a good player so...

DaKCMan AP 04-27-2012 06:40 PM

Lions preparing for the Madden curse.

yup, ditto

tk13 04-27-2012 06:40 PM

That's a good team for Broyles to go to probably. If he was going somewhere with no WR's I'm not so sure... but he might very well be a 3rd or 4th passing option most of the time in Detroit.

KevB 04-27-2012 06:41 PM

Really surprised Lions didn't go corner there. I guess if you're a Lions fan you say they took BPA.

ChiefsCountry 04-27-2012 06:41 PM

I bet Pittsburgh goes with Konz or Adams.

Frosty 04-27-2012 06:41 PM

Atlanta needs a pass rush

I agree they continue to go OL. I think Adams. Konz doesn't make sense for them.

ChiefMojo 04-27-2012 06:41 PM

Broyles is a 1st round WR if it weren't for his knee injury. So if your patient with his recovery, excellent pick imo!

O.city 04-27-2012 06:42 PM

What do the Falcons need?

Molitoth 04-27-2012 06:42 PM

I'm a Lions fan, and although they didn't go defense... I can't be upset with that pick.
They better address defense with the rest of their draft though.

ps: It's pretty cool to hear other fans chanting "barry". That's how good he was.

OU receivers don't have a great track record. They work in a lot of open space in that offense. Actually a good spot for him with all the other weapons the Lions have. He'll have space coming out of the slot there.

They still need a pass rush. Abraham can't do it all and is getting long in the tooth.

DaKCMan AP 04-27-2012 06:43 PM

NFL is now 3 picks behind. Dungver's pick is already in.

Draft coverage has been epic fail.

ILChief 04-27-2012 06:43 PM

Denver will take Orsweiller

Curry could be a really good fit as an OLB for them too

O.city 04-27-2012 06:44 PM

They are taking way too much time with this shit between picks.

the Talking Can 04-27-2012 06:44 PM

oswhatever has a huge crew....could be there awhile

DaKCMan AP 04-27-2012 06:44 PM

Lot of buzz that will be the case. However, I'd take Lamar Miller to help in the running game if I were them.

Mike Adams makes too much sense for Pit.

O.city 04-27-2012 06:45 PM

Good pick for the Falcons.

Apparently the Steelers believe that it's not possible any more to win a Super Bowl without a good offensive line.

ILChief 04-27-2012 06:47 PM

Pittsburghs ol is getting reloaded

SPchief 04-27-2012 06:47 PM

You draft a guy that was stoned at the combine in the 2nd?

milkman 04-27-2012 06:47 PM

That's a good pick for the Steelers.

O.city 04-27-2012 06:48 PM

I bet we grab Jake Bequette somewhere in this draft.

ILChief 04-27-2012 06:48 PM

the Talking Can 04-27-2012 06:48 PM
