Hit my PB in kettlebell snatches today.

10 sets of 1 in snatches with a 32kg kettlebell. I've never snatched a 32kg before. Felt good, but a little scary to snatch that bad boy. Started getting real scary toward the end of the workout when I was tired. Definitely got over a mental hump, though, and this should start a new level of strength with my kb training.

New milestones are awesome.

Shopping list:

pork rinds
hot dogs
chicken breasts

Also, 0-carb pancakes **** yes.

Quote:

Crush an ounce and a half of unflavored pork rinds (about one bag) in a blender. Add them in a few at a time to avoid jams.

Combine with half a teaspoon cinnamon

Mix in 1-3 splendas (optional)

In a separate bowl beat together:

tablespoon vanilla extract (also optional)

2 eggs

1/4 cup heavy whipping cream

Mix in the dry ingredients slowly until you have batter

let sit before cooking on medium-low heat in a greased skillet.

serve with whipped butter

Well, light night at the gym.... just did some HIIT, rotator cuff exercises and core work. Ran an add on Craigslist for a workout partner and a guy responded. I have exchanged a few emails.... he 'seems' normal enough. Will probably try to meet up next week to workout together. Married guy with three kids..... hopefully not some homo freak on the down low..... not that there is anything wrong with that.

He's a gay.

Did you say "no homo" in the ad?

I made it clear that my workout partner could be male or female and that there was no motive other than having a workout partner.

The first email he wrote me was about another guy he tried to workout with on craigslist who wanted to get with him in the locker room.

Anyways, he sounds like a big guy...... so, I guess we shouldn't go when there isn't very many people in the locker room. I mean, I can hold my own and all.... just don't want to be forced to hold his.

Silock 06-03-2010 11:39 PM

Yes. But building endurance is part of getting bigger.
