It's also about Ball control. If you Control the ball then you control the game

Outside of the Dallas game the Chiefs have won TOP every week and by some good margins. That's part of the reason the Chiefs have had the field position they have. It's not just the d has played well. It's that instead of just going 3 and out the Chiefs manage to get a 1st or 2 a good amount of the time. They get the ball between the 40s and seem to stall out. That allows Dustin to do his thing and why they get the good field position. It's not just about the defense folks. It's mostly about the D but the offense hasn't been as useless as some think

Yeah, just look at the first KC offensive possession vs Tennessee. We are around midfield.. stuck in 3rd and 15 due to yet another O-penalty... Alex hits McCluster and he gets the first down... oh, but wait... an offensive penalty on Avery negates that and sets us back further.

There have been lots of those situations that have cost us extended drives. They have to clean this stuff up... all very fixable mistakes.

Ive been checked out for almost 2 weeks (death in the family) and I cant believe what Im coming back to on this board.

First of all we are 5-0 with a strong possibilty of being 6-0 by Sunday afternoon, yet people are still bitching about the QB and continually reaching to make sure theyre right about how much he sucks.

Is our D the reason we are winning games? Hell yeah! We have a SB caliber defense. However, our offense stays on the field and keeps our amazingly talented D rested. Our QB uses his legs, not just his arm, to keep drives alive, and for the most part he is smart with the ball.

I love (In the other thread) how now ALMOST INTs are real stats. Smith should have 9 INTs, there fore HE DOES HAVE THAT MANY. I read that and thought, wait, I know Ive been disconnected but our QB has thrown 9 INTs???????? Oh no, not at all, he almost did, so now HE DID. Of course hes the only QB in the league who has a stat of ALMOST INTs. Un-****ing-real people!

Get the **** over it already. We are winning. We could actually go 11-5 or even 12-4, mainly because of our D, but our QB plays a positive role in our winning games too. So change your tampons, take some midol and stop being such whiney little ****ing bitches.

Penalties really killed them early against Tennessee. They had WAY WAY to many. A number of pre-snap flags and they had to burn timeouts way to early. The offense as a whole just didn't seem to have it together at the start
