The Tourney is no "crapshoot", that's just what KU fans say. The best team often wins and when they don't it's won by a similarly elite team. I wish it was more of a crapshoot because our March performance would be better.

Uh, it is too, check with every other top elite teams coaches and get back to me with your findings. This tourney is geared up as a win to stay in format, brings out the best in everybody. I would bet you see more quality teams being upset during the tourney than what is happening anytime during the whole season.

If anyone thinks the NCAA tournament is nothing more than a crapshoot then that person knows nothing about basketball.

It's remarkable how bad he still is at this considering all the practice he gets.

I would have thought with all the trolling he did in all of the realignment threads he would have gotten better.

The avg Pomeroy ranking of the winner is 2.7 and without the two UCONN runs, it drops to 1.8. Yet we still have people saying it's all random. The denial in our fanbase is really sad.

On another note did anyone see how poorly Frankamp played at WSU? 17min/game 38.6% shooting and 33.7% from deep, 6.2 ppg. I thought he was a legit KU caliber player and that's obv wrong

I was totally wrong about Frankamp.

I started to notice in his last year at KU that he consistently missed catch-and-shoot jumpers. He had to take at least one dribble in order to get into his motion. That works in high school, but he simply wasn't good enough to create his own shot in college consistently, so he'll never be as successful.

Thank god for Graham.

The key problem with Frankamp was that he never had any creation ability (for himself or others), which made him a dreadful PG option in comparison to Mason. I still think he may find a niche as a shooter in college, but it remains to be seen whether he's capable of that.

Not only did Boeheim piss away a win, he pissed something else.....

Anyone know where my depends are?

I would have basically said the same thing about this team a month ago as far as softness, but it's been impressive watching them collectively grow a pair... hopefully we get to watch them in several more games. If not, for god's sake just don't be the first 1 to go down to a 16.

The first one to go down is my biggest fear in sports honestly.

LOL
So by your logic of one game truely determines who is the better team, it's good to know that KU is 20 points worse than okie state.

Lunardi reiterated that there's zero chance KU doesn't end up with the #1 overall seed Sunday. Great opportunity to get the bench some minutes and more experience. Stay healthy.

There's no way Self is conceding a game to anybody, let alone Weber and KSU. He'll play all the starters big minutes as usual.
