But getting rid of both? Chargers are about to get Herminatore'd back to the Marty era. Harbaugh aint about that arena ball bullshit. Here comes the run run pass punt offense. |

Harbaugh has been good for his QB’s in the past. The work he did with Alex Smith and Colin Kaepernik give that merit |
Herbert is good. That team has no support system. Nobody cares about the Chargers in LA. They have no home field. They played at a frickin soccer stadium for a few years that was invaded by opposing fans.
It’s why they’ll never be a threat despite having really good teams on paper |
I will say the same thing EVERY time someone comes riding in to white knight these jokers...ELITE QBs find a way to win games...PERIOD. This isn't arguable.

The question is can Harbaugh rebuild that sort of organization while being strapped to Herbert's contract. He didnt have such an obstacle with Smith and Kaep, much like today's 49ers. |

I think there's a fundamental difference. He needs to win playoff games or he'll go down as yet another talented Qb who couldn't win shit. |

I think that's the spot for a team like the Vikings to come up and get their QB. |
Isn't his only playoff game that Jaguars debacle?
|
For a team with a franchise QB & LT + not much else on offense, they should be focus on accruing as many picks as possible.
The smart move is for them to trade back, although MHJ is tempting. |

But it seems like he loses every must-win game in the regular season. |
Honestly it’s pretty remarkable that Herbert turned out as good as he did with Kellen freaking Moore and Joe Lombardi being his offensive coaches the last 3 years. He did get Steichen as a rookie though
|
The Chargers GM is a guy from the Ravens and they beat the BPA mantra into the ground day after day so it's hard to see them doing anything totally stupid.
