They are going to propose a rule that forces Mahomes to retire, effective immediately.

I haven’t seen any evidence that the Bills asked for this rule change.

If they did, shame on them, but I haven’t seen anything at all.

I'm just ready to watch football again.

This has gotten old, at least the NFL has given everyone direction even if it came way to late.

That depends on how they lose in the playoffs again this year.

It's feels like we haven't had a game in weeks.

Even if not, they still forced the situation by refusing to resume their game with Cincy.

Sure does.

Honestly, I'm not too concerned about the neutral site if we play the Bills because I think the Bengals will beat them first. Based on the way things were looking in their matchup, the Bengals were going to put up a lot of points against them. I think they'll do just fine in Buffalo as well.

I'd prefer the game be at Arrowhead. But, I'm not so sure I wouldn't rather play Buffalo than the Bengals right now.

Prepare for it and just accept it now guys. This is absolutely happening. I’d put my mortgage on the NFL doing this. They’ll watch the ratings, excitement etc on this once it happens and will move to make it permanent. This vote will have consequences

Sorry everyone, I said aloud for Monday night's game I wanted the comet of doom to hit. Fate gave me the best it could... I'll take the blame for this, my bad...

ghak99 01-06-2023 02:16 PM

I hope Belichick unleashes holy hell on these shit stains.

So winning % not so great for some...

Quote:

In what scenario would the home team in a Bengals-Ravens playoff game be determined by a coin flip?

The Baltimore Ravens defeat the Cincinnati Bengals in Week 18 + the Ravens end up as the No. 6 seed.

In this scenario, the Bengals, as the AFC North champions, would hold the No. 3 seed and would be scheduled to face the 6th-seeded Ravens during Super Wild Card Weekend. The Ravens will have beaten the Bengals twice, but will still have a lower winning percentage because the Bengals will have played 16 games while the Ravens have played 17. To try to solve for that inequity, a coin flip would determine which team has home-field advantage.

In the event the Ravens win the coin toss and host the Bengals, Cincinnati would still be the No. 3 seed and the Ravens the No. 6 seed.

The Ravens only end up as the No. 6 seed in this scenario if the Chargers (10-6) also beat the Broncos in Week 18 (the Chargers would be the No. 5 seed). A Ravens win and a Chargers loss would move Baltimore up to the No. 5 seed.
So as I have stated, the Bengals are benefiting by only playing 16 games and a team that has to play more would lose because they had to play 1 more game. Had Cinci lost Monday night and Baltimore beats them this weekend, Baltimore would have won the division but since the NFL got involved, Cinci is crowned the division winner and handed the #3 seed outright.
