You detractors are just straight-up idiots. You don't get it, though it's been explained to you 100 times, and you probably never will. Some of you really believe that changing a regime somehow wipes the history-slate clean, though that proven history of FAIL is tied to one common denominator, a denominator which continues to this day.
And then there are you San Francisco shit-for-brains, who feel that we should be "lucky" to repeat our same old mistake with your latest cast-off. YOU folks can truly go **** yourselves. And finally, there's Lil' Dumbass Chiefy True Fan who only cares about winning enough to be a non-joke in the league(as well as a non-factor for a Championship, though he'll nevar acknowledge it because hope rides high(!), and "by golly, we'll get it RIGHT THIS TIME!). Bottom Line: Axl will NOT break this longstanding chain of events. It's not in his DNA. You can give him every single Chief in history that you would love to have on this team, in the PRIME of their playing years, and it's not going down. You can build that fool a super-line and clone Jerry Rice: NOT happening. I'll enjoy not completely sucking until we have an actual future in place at the position, and THANK GOD we hired Dorsey who's not going to **** around with this shit forever during his tenure here. That is a man who will eventually, if necessary, confiscate Reid's mixed plate if shit goes stagnant at the Quarterback position in the name of an unwarranted man-crush. |

99 browns drafted Tim couch Rams had a guy who was once bagging groceries It was the Browns that had the right choice. Houston Texans fans are mad they got rid of David Carr and brought in Matt Schaub who although he's having bad year this year has been pretty good for them over all The Cards Hated that same guy that was with the rams in 99 that took them to the superbowl We all hated Trent Green Love Brodie Croyle The Saints fans Hate Drew Brees Cowboys fans hate tony Romo (well actually some do) Yep the ONLY way to get a qb is through the draft |

You don't have to have a high powered offense to win the superbowl even today. If you have the right mix of offense and defense you can win it. That's what they are trying to build. The offense has shown some flashes. They have looked horrible at others. Smith has made some mistakes but they haven't cost us a game. THe constant bashing of Alex Smith is not called for. First...I never thought he was the pick at 1.1 and I would be interested in knowing how many really feel he would have been the right pick at that spot. If you are arguing that we should have kept our 2nd Round pick and taken a flier on him there I can understand that. But then my next question would have been had we taken him, how many of the impatient fans would be screaming for the Draft Packs head had Geno failed? I'm not convinced some of you would have been as patient with his "growing pains" as you are saying now. I still believe it's too early to call G Smith a boom or bust....5 games really isn't enough to judge him by, anymore than the games Matt Cassel won at NE made him a quality QB. I say you wait until the season is over with....that way if suddenly the Jets go on a 9 game losing streak and Geno's lack of experience is one of the reasons you aren't busy trying to rationalize. And...for those who are detractors, if he matures into the QB that his supporters believe he is/can be then you won't be trying to rationalize either. |
