Pretty pathetic effort overall.

I don’t agree that the game is meaningless, but our players not named Wilson think it’s meaningless.

It's pretty meaningless. I couldn't tell you how many of these we won in the last two decades and I doubt anybody else could either. Our season gets decided a week from now, not here after 3 days of basketball without a bench.

I've always thought of it as 'for the fans' as opposed to some big accomplishment.... I worked in downtown KC for a few years and always loved seeing fans of every team show up, and it's always been a great time either going to games or being downtown during the tournament.

And you get to watch more KU BB.... while the players have several days of rest coming up, they'll be fine.

As a coach, I'd probably agree.

As a fan... meh, I'll just enjoy the games.
