I agree, it's like he's a giant Tyler Thigpen, but with accuracy and brains.

I'm sure that will disappoint Cassel. 'Cause, you know, impressing Bill Belichick enough to remain on the roster for a few season (even though Belichick knew Cassel couldn't hit his second read or function in an offense unless in play-action or shotgun), then replacing Brady and leading the Patriots to 11 wins and throwing for almost 4000 yards, then signing a multi-million dollar contract with K.C. and already showing more flashes of solid play... I'm sure all that isn't enough. He probably reads this board and goes to bed at night, choking back a sob, thinking, "God... if I could only impress KnowMo by throwing to my second read, or completing a pass other than play-action or shotgun! I suck! One day, maybe, one day, I can finally earn his praise..."

Meanwhile, your young coach would blow a goat if he could somehow manage to change the course of time and end up with Cassel instead of Orton.

But, but, if DJ would just receive better coaching...

Matt Cassel reminds me of a younger, soberer Kyle Orton.
