Honestly I did too. I actually didnt expect him to be thaaaat good. Randle is just pure power and would be ideal for the Bill Self system. Conversely Wiggins skill set seems to fit either UNC or UK much more than KU. No doubt that Wiggins has more NBA talent but honestly Randle should be better NEXT year

He could come to KU and be a beloved hero a la Ben and still get his NBA stock up, or go to UK and just be another faceless cog in the lottery pick machine.

Having Ben as the likely #1 pick in the upcoming draft sure hasn't hurt Self's chances here.
