The Saints have a 3rd round compensatory pick too?

****ing awesome

Fansy the Famous Bard 03-24-2017 03:45 PM

Wait, Quincy Wilson lasted until the end of the 2nd round?

And KC passed on him there for Tim Williams?

I like Tim Williams, but I'm not sure what his ceiling is.

A poor man's Elvis Dumerville.

For a 2nd round pick, that's a solid return.

I dunno, I'm not sure how twitchy he is. Seems like more of a bruiser, which at OLB isn't ideal for me. For a 2nd round pick, sure and I think he'll be solid. I had saw some 1st round stuff about him and I don't like that.

In my opinion its a Dee Ford or Nick Perry.. I dunno. Seems like he'll be best as a situational pass rusher and not much against the run.

There's a particular corner on the board that would make me extremely happy as a Chiefs fan. Perfect fit.

I can assure you that this was a tough decision to take Williams and there are 2 other guys I liked just as much that were almost the pick...a corner was absolutely a possibility. Williams drug issues are a concern, but if it weren't for them, he's a top 15 pick in the draft that comes right in and takes the ROLB job day 1 and makes Ford a situational pass rusher

I'll talk more about that as the specific players come off the board...but I'm hoping I get lucky again.

Pittsburgh selects Adam Shaheen, TE, Ashford

Can somebody PM the next guy?

Either way you helped Green Bay get a very good corner to go along with a good D-Line and 3 pass rushers. Rodgers and can could easily challenge New England with this group.

Man two days in a row I was one pick away during bedtime

Hoover 03-24-2017 08:32 PM

I'll pick shortly.

Hoover 03-24-2017 08:56 PM

With the 63rd pick in the NFL draft,

The Atlanta Falcons Select, Montravius Adams, DT, Auburn

Again, plenty of talent out there the Falcons like, but once again its the DLine that gets the call. We all watched the Super Bowl, that defense got worn out. There are plenty of DTs on the board that I like her, but I think Adams best fits what the Falcons do.

Looks like Fat Scott is having another good defensive draft!

Flip on the LSU tape where he was more of a 3down backer.

I don't think he will be a brick wall against the run, but I think he has the potential to be a plus defender against the run.

My concern with him is his intelligence and ability to not be fooled by misdirection, screens, etc.

If he can overcome those weaknesses, I see a possible James Harrison.
