The creeks are out around here. I was talking to Noah about a boat for my basement.

Gods' Fireworks are the best. You know you are in KS, watching all hell break lose, not in the basement but in the garage in camp chairs in the midst of a tornado warning.

I had to re-look this up: you see lightning, start counting, if time elapses of 5 sec to hear the thunder equals 1 mile etc. Some were .5 seconds:) I was checking for downed trees this morning

BTW, my rain gauges weren't tall enough. NE KS.

Yeah, I was 20 miles west of there. It was a hell of a light show.

Just got 2" of rain in about 20-25 minutes. Amazing.

Quarter to pea size hail damaged the corn around us. I've seen a LOT worse.
