Pssshhtttt...our QB and coach are both waaaaay better than theirs were.
Apples to oranges.

They thought they were stealing a key piece of the machine from a system known for not paying many.

There are some 3 story homes, but are mostly in the very rich areas. The reason we don’t have many is zoning. They have max height with rooflines that keeps them from being built!

Yep, I figured it was something like that.

Either that or something to do with the bedrock, though I know that can’t be an end-all issue because obviously we’ve got skyscrapers.

Why the Chiefs haven’t traded L’Jarius Sneed and how it could work for him to stay

Spoiler!

With the Sutton arrest and release does this put Detroit in play again?

It probably should. But the Carlton Davis trade never should've taken them out of it in the first place and evidently did.

So it would seem Detroit doesn't seem him as critical an addition for them as I do. I think he'd be a MASSIVE help for them and fits their needs/personality to the letter.

There's not been a better fit between player/team of any of the available guys in FA or the trade market this year. And yet they don't seem to disagree with me.

Detroit not coming strong for Sneed is absolutely baffling to me. There's no reason in the world for him to not be a Lion at this point.

The Lions also are so damn close to getting over the hump in a conference with an awful QB situation.

For a franchise that’s never won anything, they sure don’t seem to be in much of a hurry.

It is astonishing to me that they aren’t going all in to get a title.

And this wouldn't even be 'all-in'.

That's what i really don't get. Late 2nd, some change and some cap space. And here's the thing - their biggest issue is probably having a relatively average QB.

And Sneed will make ANY QB he faces short of Patrick Mahomes look relatively average. He's proven that. So if you can add someone like Sneed that then serves to even the playing field at QB, you can lean pretty hard on your dynamic RB and young WR/TE, no?

I just can't get over how good a fit he'd be for them and how strange it is that they don't seem all that interested.

32 and a late 3rd isn't getting you past 25 at best.

It seems like the Lions interpret Sneed as the “all in” move and Davis as the more reasonable move.

I see it as paying less for garbage when you could pay a little more for an elite corner.

I don’t get it.

Coochie liquor 03-22-2024 03:24 PM

Could sign him to a one year deal with incentives like we did for CJ last year. To lower the cap hit?

Couch-Potato 03-22-2024 07:06 PM

Does Sneed want $22m or is he demanding $22m to pry him loose from a potential 3-peat?

In other words, any chance he'd take less to play in KC.

Let's just let him roll on the tag and he can go wherever he wants for $22m next season after a 3rd SB!

PHOG 03-22-2024 09:07 PM

Dudes...........he wants to best he can be
