Royals have playoff droughts, can't deny that, but their World Series winning droughts are nothing compared to half the MLB. Their division alone is Cleveland 75 years, Detroit 39 years, and Minnesota 32 years. The White Sox went 87 years without winning a championship. It's just crazy seeing some of winning World Series droughts in MLB history.

He might do that but he doesn't have to. He's got one of the most valuable and well known sports franchises in the world in a sports league that prints money. This franchise will never be as big as it now. Mahomes, Kelce, even Taylor Swift has brought a level of worldwide fame and value to this organization and Kansas City that we'll never see again. He can do whatever he wants with this team basically. We aren't going to stop him, Frank White isn't going to stop him. Nobody has leverage on the Chiefs. I don't know why he wouldn't take this as a chance to do whatever he wants. Loyalty to his dad might be the only reason he doesn't.

I’m sorry, it all just makes me kind of sad. Yeah, the Royals have been shitty, but they’re OUR shitty Royals. These are teams that were here long before I was born. Teams that I’ve watched since I was a three year old sitting on my dad’s lap.

I don’t care if they suck, I love going to Royals games and enjoying the entire atmosphere. It just kind of sucks, in my opinion. And, honestly, it’s kind of stupid for people to be giddy about the possibility of them not improving things, or worse, moving elsewhere.

I do not think there is a market that is that great that would not impede on another market in a way that NFL owners would not be down for.
