This works for me. Figure out what really motivates you. Find a picture or something that reminds you of it & keep it where you'll see it every day. Any time I think of skipping, I force myself to think about what I'll really be sacrificing. I hope it helps.

Also, if I skip, I post it on here & wait for one of you guys to call me a loser. That helps, too.

Diet will not give you broader shoulders, bigger arms, or more strength.

I'm taking a day off. I've gone 9 days in a row.

I guess I'll just consider today my cheat day. Election days never work out well for the diet.

Dude, I was a fat, ****ing pig all weekend. Yesterday was the day to get back on track, and I ****ed it off too. Shit happens. Your excuse is a helluva lot better than mine. :D

There are like 20 people in my office right now and all of them brought in something that they baked. I'm pretty sure I clear 3000 calories every time we have an election here.

I've done that 3 times this year. Once was this weekend. I honestly think it's good for you every once in a while. Not for the body obviously  but definitely for the psych. Enjoy it, I say.

Word. The biggest issue is that if your elbows are at 90 degrees out to the side when you have the weight up at its height, that will strain your shoulders.

Grab the bar, and hold it at the top of your movement. Rotate your elbows inward. Bring the bar down to the bottom of your ribcage. That's proper upper body form. Feet should be closer to your hips, while your knees are the body part that is farthest away from the bar.

Nothing wrong with that. If your goal is simply weight loss, that's easily achieved through diet alone.

As for being at the gym, well, you don't have to. Just find something physical that you like to do, like running with a dog, playing sports, etc.

Hey, don't worry... we can call you a loser even if you don't skip!

I totally read this as "Erection Day." Thought I missed out on a holiday.

BTW, your weight and reps will go down for hte first few times you do it this way, but will quickly rocket past where you would have otherwise been.
