Maybe, but if they do it won't be because of anything that happened in this game without one of their best players.

No, it will be because every player besides one on this team is mentally soft and nobody on this team thinks rebounding is important. Texas is a better team up and down and any tough defensive team that has a couple of players that can move without the ball is going to throttle KU.

Yes, the post season tournament is only meaningful to teams vying to get into the tournament on an auto bid or make a splash on a resume they couldn't build over a 40 game regular season.

It's pretty annoying listening to media types say the winner of this game is the Big XII champion too.

Missouri was the "B12 Champion" in 2012 too. Look how much that did for them 5 days later.

These games don't matter.

It won't be that annoying this year. They whopped our *** twice, they legitimately deserve to be called champions.

KU won the best and most physical conference in the country without a bench and primarily through their defense. They're the furthest thing from soft there is.

Looking at a game where they clearly didn't try and were also missing their defensive anchor as some kind of sign of things to come is bizarre.

Does Texas have an argument for a #1 seed?

Not at all. I’ve watched every game this year. They are a soft team. They are lucky to have the record they have. This just feels like a 1-1 team in the tournament.

CasselGotPeedOn 03-11-2023 06:55 PM

Why are the starters still in?

They should. Not sure why Houston deserves it more than they do for one.

Demonpenz 03-11-2023 06:56 PM

This team isn't making it past the first weekend. They suck.

That's true and I think we should all keep this in perspective. It's just really annoying to watch this pathetic effort. And **** Texas! I hope they lose the first weekend.

Drama llamas have entered the thread.

The only thing you've said here that actually makes sense. They've won a ton of close games this year, which is either a sign of luck or a sign that they have players come through in big moments.

I'd suggest given the experience of two of them winning a NC a year ago, it's more of the latter than the former.

KC Hawks 03-11-2023 06:58 PM

Ah yes, we'll probably face a team of Texas's caliber in the second round.
