Squat (Light 2x12, superset lunges, 2x12 per side)
Deads (Light 2x12, superset reverse lunges, 2x12 per side)

Silock just wondering if I should use db's on the lunges?

Silock 06-09-2010 12:07 AM

Depends on the weight you're using.

LetsSignRussell 06-09-2010 12:11 AM

well the first week through I used like 25's and it was fricken exhausting doing 12 squats/deads then jumping right into 12 lunges each leg.

Silock 06-09-2010 02:04 AM

Good.

That's why its called a WORK out. It's not supposed to be easy.

Don't confuse "light weight" with easy.

Dude, it's for a like a week until you get used to it. It's not because you're weaker. It's just getting used to the new and improved movement.

A WHOLE week? Ugh.

:D

SenselessChiefsFan 06-09-2010 03:25 AM

Well, I am not doing any exercise for my arms for the next few days. I did back.... well, started to do back and biceps last night and my shoulder started really hurting.... more than it did on my chest night.

I did pull ups and narrow grip seated rows just fine. But, when I went to do wide grip seated rows, I had a shooting pain in my shoulder. I dropped the weight all the way down to 40lbs, and I couldn't do a single rep without so much pain that I couldn't stand it.

So, I am on the shelf for the rest of this week. Hopefully, not longer than that.
