Well, now you know.

Dude, I'm just giving you shit. Relax!

Which site did you use to get your estimate? I only ask because it's important that the calculation not figure in any kind of "daily caloric expenditure estimate," as that will throw off the results.

Yes, I am sorry, but you have to complete the prerequisites with at least a 'c' average before enrolling in this thread.:D

I think Silock was just jerking yer chain a little. This thread is all about acceptance and love and.... wait... Sorry, this thread is just about getting in shape.

Good news & bad news.

I had a great workout last night. We did a group bike ride & I set the pace. I was hauling ass around the lake. It was like a dead sprint for 12 miles with several tough climbs. My legs were on fire & felt like jello when we got done.

However, we end the bike ride at a bar & they had some wonderful specials. Long story - short... I'm sitting at work this morning wondering if I'm still drunk.

Hit it hard this morning. Came back and cooked up some migas. Served with an avocado. Delicious. Did I mention that I'm out of school for the summer. :p

I need to get into teaching.................

Took yesterday off and went back this morning. I feel like I cheated. I lifted hard, but when it came time to run I just took it easy and ran 4 miles in 48 minutes. I wasn't even breathing hard when I was done. Sweating like a pig, and my bodybugg says I burned up 1500 calories in the hour and a half I was there, but I felt almost like I was walking those 4 miles. I love that I'm fit enough to pull that off, but definitely don't want to get in the habit of it.

Kind of like my dinner last night. 250 calories is not a big deal. But if I did that everyday, it would be pretty bad.

The fact that you know that you ate 250 more calories than you should.... heck, the fact that you took the effort to plot out your caloric intake at all..... means that you will be fine.

The same with exercise. The fact that you ran 4 miles 'taking it easy'.... says something. We aren't going to be completely pumped every time we step in the gym. Some days, you just go through the motions.

Was in the kitchen most of the afternoon while the boys napped.

1. Made salsa.
2. Made vegetable stock to freeze.
3. Sage-roasted beets, caramelized onions, toasted pecan, and goat cheese salad made with fresh-picked greens and topped with a balsamic miso dressing.
4) Chickpea fries.

Damn I love the summertime.

Have you ever considered opening a restaurant or maybe a small cafe?

I have too many friends who are chefs. No freaking way. I enjoy cooking too much to make a living at it.

Careful not to overdo it, man. Adding in twice the number of exercises can quickly lead to overtraining and burnout, both of which means no muscle growth at all.

I need to cut back on eating cookies and ice cream. It's ruining my wash board abs.

yeah I hear ya. but like the bi's and calves are rarely directly worked in the routine. sldl was real light basically just to stretch out, and the obliques thing is something I never do. the core i like to do at the end of every workout.

True that. Plus not having that food around to munch on also.
