Again, no one has answered this question for me.

Why do you Alice Smith slurpers get so emotionally invested in him?

I will never, ever understand it. It's just mind boggling.

Says the butthurt boy who came over here to continually talk of about his ex-grilfriend.

Who's emotionally invested again??????:hmmm:

Oh, and I agree, I find it mind boggling that someone who hates a QB, would follow him around to compalin about him. Mind Boggling doesn't even begin to describe it

Do you even read what you're typing?? Cuz, you my friend are doing exactly what you are putting others down for doing. You're just on the other side of it. But it's exactly the same, only more pathetic.
Are you 12 or something?

Lol. Ummmm, I can't see the future. If it wasn't for the concussion or another injury, he would still be starting for the Niners in all likelihood.

But who knows? I don't see him getting benched for performance reasons, but he could get injured and who knows what his back up does at that point.

If Alex continues to play well, and I believe he will, the Chiefs can focus on improving other areas with the Draft. There are going to be a lot of other teams going after a QB this next draft (the Eagles just to name one) ...that will leave a lot of other good players in other positions to pick from.

The Chiefs picked up Alex at a great time. He's done with the rookie growing pains, he's learned how to have poise in the pocket, and he's only 29. He's also not a money hungry jerk. When the time comes to extend his contract he's not gonna push for Joe Flacco kind of money. We'll be afford to keep a good team together. I think its a win win.

There is no doubt in my mind, that one of these two clowns, Alex Smiff, or Alice Smith, is Jski. no doubt in my mind.

So you know Alex or his agent huh? No way Alex would ever push for 20 million and would be just fine with 10 you say?

I think he got played on by his GF or something? Maybe for a girl or maybe a younger guy?

No. But money has never been Alex Smiths thing. He runs a charity that he receives almost no profit from, he twice restructured his contract to help the 49ers out, and no, not the Tom Brady, or Brandon Flowers restructuring. he actually took less money.

He is all about the team. Shrugs. Its just his history. He has plenty of money. Stole enough of it at the beginning of his career.

Pssst. What you are doing, is called projecting. Because you are the one clearly with the UNHEALTHY obsession with Alex Smith.

This. Being a fan of a particular player is, to me, pretty much normal.

Stalking a player to his team's MB, because you hate that player and anyone who likes him, is, pretty weird.

You'll have to color me a little skeptical when I hear a guy is willing to play for less than face value.

I don't know what to tell you boss.

Alex Smith is the ultimate team no ego guy.

Its part of the appeal to people who have watched him. Not ONCE has he patted himself on the back and taken credit for anything he has done.

Did you see him on the NFLN set last night?

the guy, literally has no ego. He is far too nice. That is a flaw in him. he needs to be more cut throat.

I can understand your skeptism...but just look at his contract history. He has never displayed, at any time, he was ever in this for the money. When he struggled he took a pay cut. He came back before the 2011 preseason, before he even had a contract and ran the 49ers training camp during the lockout. He wasn't even guaranteed to be on the team and he did that. His next contract will probably be in the 10-12mil range and will be a team friendly contract. The guy could have been a distraction last season for the 49ers and he wasn't. The guy may not be the rocket arm QB you're looking for but he can and does help this team win games. How many turn overs did KC have by game 3 last year? How many wins did they have by game 3 last year? Smith is a different guy than he was just a few years ago so I hate when people use his old stats against him...as if no one can ever learn from past mistakes. All those interceptions he threw during his early years ....he's learned from them. He just doesn't do that anymore. How he has played from 2011-2013 is who he is now. He plays fundamentaly sound football. He is very cautious and that may frustrate the fan base but there is no doubt about it ...he does win games.

With Alex Smith we are going to need a good running game, a good O-Line, good receivers who can get yards after the catch and a good defence. But isn't that true with all the other teams as well? Isn't that why the Packers havent returned to the Superbowl? Isn't that why Tom Brady is so frustrated right now? Don't forget guys this is a team sport and no one superstar QB can do it by himself. With a cap friendly QB we can afford the supporting cast to make a winning team.
