Long story short, we were out with friends and she was getting drunk. I cancelled her next drink she ordered. She became pouty. We left. Got home and she packed her bag (still drunk). I told her if she was so ****ing stupid as to drive home drunk then she would never see me again. She left.

Here we are.

For the record I didn't drink. I'm not making any decisions while drunk here.

So you canceled her drink, then made her leave the bar? Were you with friends? If you did not talk her out of packing and leaving, you really never cared in the first place.

You don't know what the hell you're talking about.

It is hard to not come to that conclusion when you read back over all your rants/issues on here with past girlfriends. I am not meaning to make it sound bad or negative. Just what it appears like, you gave her the ultimatum while she was drunk/imbibed per your description. This happens with anyone we date.

Nothing wrong with this. Girl was going to get fat eventually anyway. Dodged a bullet.

This isn't the first time you've had to do this within the last year, if my memory is good. Where are you meeting these chicks, bars?

You cannot go in expecting someone to change. You also can't give someone an ultimatum, especially while they're under the influence (of whatever their vice is). You need to talk to her about your concerns when she's sober. Cancelling her drink and leaving the bar in front of everyone did not help your cause.

If you weren't drinking and you were obviously in a social situation where having drinks is OK, why did you cancel her drink order? When you were fat, if a date of yours would have cancelled your dessert order would you have been happy about it?

You seem to throw the word alcoholic around pretty freely. I would be curious as to what your definition of alcoholic is. Also, it is pretty irresponsible to let someone you know is drunk get in their car and drive. It not only shows a lack of concern for their safety, but a lack if concern for the safety of everyone else on the roads at that time.

I think Buck needs to stop dating anyone who drinks. It's pretty obvious that he has a superiority complex toward women who drink and resents their drinking, feeling like he needs to control it. Like you said, he throws around alcoholic quite a bit.

I wonder how he'd feel if she took his pipe away from him mid session because she felt like he was getting too high?

I'd cut a bitch.

I guess you guys are ok with seeing the girl you love completely hammered and asking for more alcohol. It was not a good situation.

She promised me she would limit herself and she didn't and got plastered.
