I'm not saying the Chiefs got the shaft, but it isn't my desired outcome either. It's not like the Chiefs orchestrated any of this.

Yeah, and I completely get the argument that the Bills didn't have to play and still get something out of it, but the only thing they're being "handed" is a neutral site game, if it comes to that... no bye, will most likely play the Bengals in the divisional, and no playing the Chiefs at home.

And again, it's "given how much the NFL botched it", as they could have just played the damn game or followed their own rules for a canceled game.

But for as active as the league seems to be to constantly **** over the Chiefs, because the entire universe DOES revolve around us... I'd say this was a pretty half assed attempt. They could have done them far worse, like coin flips for the bye, etc.

If we limit the selection to stadiums over 50,000 people regardless of the stadium's design, we would draw these five:

Memorial Stadium 81,500 Clemson South Carolina 1942 Football Clemson Tigers*(NCAA)

Scott Stadium 61,500 Charlottesville Virginia 1931 Football Virginia Cavaliers*(NCAA)

Jack Trice Stadium 61,500 Ames Iowa 1975 Football Iowa State Cyclones*(NCAA)

RingCentral Coliseum 63,026 Oakland California 1966 Multi-purpose Oakland Athletics*(MLB)

Vaught–Hemingway Stadium 64,038 Oxford Mississippi 1915 Football Ole Miss Rebels*(NCAA)

agree to not complete the game. they can't punish the bills for it, so cincy has to get screwed.

So the NFL is mad at the Bengals for saying whatever Buffalo wants?

Being guaranteed the 1 seed and a bye is pretty damn nice given how much the NFL botched the entire thing.

Agreed. It’s worth remembering the other day Cincy was up 22-0 on Patriots and damn near lost. They needed a Patriots fumble at the very end to bail out Cincy from an epic collapse.

actually a great point

the next time this happens, no one is stopping the game if they need it

If we completely open it up to any stadium of 18,000 or more people, regardless of design, our top five choices would be:

Geodis Park 30,000 Nashville Tennessee 2022 Soccer Nashville SC*(MLS)

Acrisure Stadium 68,400 Pittsburgh Pennsylvania 2001 Football Pittsburgh Steelers*(NFL)

American Family Field[27] 41,900 Milwaukee Wisconsin 2001 Baseball Milwaukee Brewers*(MLB)

RFK Stadium 56,692 Washington, D.C. District of Columbia 1961 Multi-purpose To Be Demolished

Vaught–Hemingway Stadium 64,038 Oxford Mississippi 1915 Football Ole Miss Rebels*(NCAA)

We'll have to check the demolition schedule for RFk Stadium before showing up.

Here's my source, by the way: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_o...ms_by_capacity

Hope we get a similar effort from the Patriots this weekend.

Arizona Stadium 57,803 Tucson Arizona 1928 Football Arizona Wildcats*(NCAA)

Husky Stadium 70,083 Seattle Washington 1920 Football Washington Huskies*(NCAA)

Memorial Stadium[12] 86,047 Lincoln Nebraska 1923 Football Nebraska Cornhuskers*(NCAA)

CEFCU Stadium 30,456 San Jose California 1933 Football San Jose State Spartans*(NCAA)

Snapdragon Stadium 35,000 San Diego California 2022 Football San Diego State Aztecs*(NCAA)

Never been but I have heard that Clemson's new renovations have made Memorial Stadium by far the nicest stadium in the country, maybe the world.

It's actually none because KC isn't losing to Las Vegas. :)

Yes sir, happens to the Bills all the time too. Great post.

I don’t know how some people are thinking the Bills lose a game that was still in the 1st quarter. For all they know, Burrow may have thrown a pick 6 on the very next play. And the Bills get the ball after the half.

**** off, Capt. Dildo Table Wrecker. The Bills are a team full of pussies and I can't wait to watch Belichick's team go in dry on that group of pillow biting pansies this Sunday.
