That was from other Chiefs players talking about Alex and the drive in the dallas game-then he did it again last night. Cassel would have thrown a pick from the 5 not drive them down. Stats don't tell the whole story. Marino always had better stats than Joe- but it takes a team to win.

But yes I understand by watching the Royals since I was a kid- same thing. They will probably Never win another world series-Ever. But I have jsut been enjoying that they are competitve again.

I think he might possibly be growing out of the "game manager" label, but, of course, that does not make him elite. Remains to be seen what his ceiling is.

Oh. I absolutely cant let go of the past. My first two months here were a living hell, and all I did was come and try to be positive about what Alex Smith, Andy Reid, John Dorsey, and Bob Sutton were bringing to the Chiefs. It wasn't directed at you. It's towards these guys that keep bringing up old stats to try to predict all the future losses Alex is going to have.

It has been done before and they were proven to be wrong. Now these guys follow him here in hopes to be right this time around. So far the outlook isn't as good as they thought it would be.
