This team is capable of playing great basketball, obviously. But in the last 2 games against Texas, we showed that we are also capable of playing some of the worst basketball in the Bill Self era.

If (I said IF) they play like they did today against an athletic 16 seed, with the same lack of effort on defense and lack focus on offense, a lot of us Jayhawk fans are going to be desperately praying to the basketball Gods to just let us win this one game.

So, if we don't have a deep run, I get it, but holy crap, just don't lose to the 16 seed.

It looked like we didn't really care at all today. Our defense was horrible, with almost no effort, and on offense we played like today was the first time any of the kids had played together.

And this really wasn't a good game for Norm. Honestly, he looked a little lost on the sideline. I think Self would have been working the refs for the uneven, inconsistent foul calls, and probably would have received a technical at some point. But, Norm just kinda seemed passive.
