Do you really think they wouldn't be saying the same thing even if there were no fantasy football?

Pretty much. I should be rooting for GB to make a nice comeback run and make this a sweet game; but right now I want Favre to march them about 90 yards downfield and let Longwell kick a FG. Pretty odd stance; but it is what it is.

WildTurkey 10-05-2009 08:53 PM

Jeez well everyone will jump off the bandwagon once Favre ends the Vikings season with an INT

I can't point to a box score to explain it to you.

How about this:

He's had no running game, he's been constantly harassed, his receivers have made numerous drops, and yet he's consistently moved his team down the field and put them in position to score and keep the game close, primarily because he's ****ing nails on 3rd down.

Im going to be curious what Minnesota is going to do after this season with ALL that talent and no QB.......

Basileus777 10-05-2009 08:55 PM

Other than holding onto the ball too long at times, Rodgers has played really well.

For the most part he has got it out pretty quick, otherwise JA would have 10 sacks

Ok. I understand your point. But the score would be 28-7 right now if not for a screw up by Peterson. Rodgers has played very well given the circumbstances but you cant say Favre has done worse than Rodgers.
