If only we played Pittsburgh at home every night. He'd hit .750 for the season!

Brewers lose Gamel for the season with an ACL tear.

Pirate killer!

I wonder if we'll face them in the playoffs?

Dude, he's not that bad. Listening to you trash him every day you must think he's Green, Lizzy and Franklin all rolled up into one pathetic player.

He's not that bad. So he's not "clutch". He is still a valuable part of the team. He moved his family to st. Louis. Does charity work. He is good friends with Freese, pal around in the off season.Working to keep Freese from crawling back into the bottle. Invites minor league talent to work out with them in St. Louis. He palys with passion. There are more parts that are needed on a team other than "clutch".

Phillies Halladay is really ****ing good. Ok, carry on w/ the STL thread. Except Brian McCann just hit a GS off of him!

Freese had problems with the bottle?

That's nice if he's making $4 mil a year and batting seventh.

He isn't.

It's not like I want him to suck. If he pulls out of this slump and stays out of it, I'll be thrilled. Hope it happens. But I won't hold my breath.

that's what you call 'white-boying' it. When you try to slap hands after a speacial play and whiff. BTW bourn redeems w/ a single driving in 2.

Got it.

He got two dWI's when he was in the minor leagues with the Cardinals. His ankles were broken in one DWI wreck. The cardinals threaten to release him if he didn't get cleaned up. He was driving drunk all the time. I believe he's been sober for 3 years now.

Didn't AJ Burnett shut us out earlier this year?
