It is JUNE. I'd be willing to bet at least 2/3 of these guys pick up more offers as the year goes on.

Other staffs and the recruiting services realize Missouri excels at identifying talent. Rankings and offers follow most "out of the blue" guys Missouri offers.

Seeing big offer lists is great, but our staff's ability to project what guys like this will become is very well established. I'll take another Britt or Morse every time.

24/7 Sports has Newman as our highest rated recruit (with 4 stars). I suppose that will make some on here feel better. Of course, it's still the same kid.

Missouri junior defensive lineman Harold Brantley has been injured in a car wreck, according to KRCG13 reporter Ashley Zavala.

Mizzou Women’s basketball player Maddie Stock was also in the car with Brantley.

Zavala’s Twitter timeline included details and a photo of the accident:


According to the report by Zavala, the car Brantley was driving — a 2000 Chrysler Concorde — traveled off the left side of the road when he overcorrected to the right side. The car then struck a guardrail and overturned.

Brantley is one of the Tigers’ anchors along the defensive line for 2015 after posting a fantastic sophomore season in 2014.

We’ll keep you updated as new information is released about his status.
