I can hear them already every time Baker has a mediocre game they'll shouting that he's replaced Mahomes. Every time he has a bad game they'll be calling for his head. Please let it happen.

My opinions of one Baker Mayfield were well documented in the Browns thread prior to game one… fact is, I was wrong. I called him an Alex Smith clone, and he’s way worse than that….

Baker - Cutler, Herbert - Rivers(probably Allen new Rivers) LETS GO!

He seems like a less mentally stable Alex Smith. With that OL and running game, I think Smith would actually do better than Mayfield.

That’s actually pretty good.

I’ve decided I dont actually dislike Baker. He’s a pissant, but I’d like him if he were OUR pissant. And he does leave everything on the field - he’s just not a great player.

But a franchise could do a lot worse and the Browns HAVE. He’s sort of a modern era Bernie Kosar in a lot of ways.

His selfishness last season easily cost his team

He had a ****ed up shoulder but refused to get out of the way, he "gutted through it". Which is absolutely bullshit. He was ****ed up and refused to do what was best for the team and have someone else start at QB because he was worried he would lose his job.

So now Baker is back to square 1 along with progressive insurances marketing department

His commercials are hilarious.

That’s on his coaches though. Any good racehorse will run until it’s heart explodes. A hunting dog will do the same.

Its the coaches job to pull him back and it’s any type A competitors nature to insist (usually incorrectly) that his 50% is better than someone else’s 80%. That’s just how guys at this level are wired.

He can come in and backup Mahomes when Henne decides it’s time to hang ‘em up.
