Burkholder is pretty revered in terms of trainer stuff so if they didn’t have him in a boot it would seem it’s not as bad?

Yeah, either the Chiefs have* botched this whole deal and Mahomes is being irresponsible (highly doubtful) or the injury is of the least severe possible for a high ankle sprain (more likely).

I can't believe this would be a current. They just had an orthopedic doctor on ESPN basically saying he should be in a boot and he shouldn't be putting weight on it this week. Yet, he's not doing any of that. Wasn't in a boot in the press conference, and is reportedly if these photos are correct working out on it. The exact opposite of what this doctor is saying to do. She also didn't seem very optimistic he would be very effective.

ESPN also considers Brooke Pryor to be an NFL expert, so it’s not surprising that their medical expert wouldn’t be a reliable source.

How can you believe anything on woke ESPN?

Why would he be at some random gym?

Not sure, but it's been confirmed through Brittany's IG that it was him and it was the same day.

That's the only logical conclusion I can come to. It's one thing to say all the right things, but if they were full of shit, he'd be in a boot for sure.

No idea what the truth is but literally all available evidence whether it’s how it improved during the game, how it looked after the game, the reports we got the day after the game, or the (alleged) pictures of him working out all point a lot more toward the latter.

I know that Reid keeps Mahomes on a tight leash during the playoffs and forbids him from going out to socialize at any point during the week if he has a game the following weekend. So it’s hard to believe they’d be playing this fast and loose.

He is not like other humans. His ligaments are made of silicon rubber. No one mentions it, but we all have seen it … the way he looks like he has rubbery knock kneed girly legs when he scrambles. It’s why he was able to wear his kneecap on the back of his leg after that QB sneak and be fine a couple of weeks later. It’s why Pollard broke his leg, and he didn’t. He’ll be good.

If I were Mahomes, I’d go out in public with a boot on the wrong foot and see if anyone noticed.

Maybe next have my arm in a sling. Or maybe an eyepatch.

I'm convinced he's from another planet...

The line has moved a staggering 4 points from KC to Cincy.

That's a big move in a short time.

Dr.Chao the former NFL doc was on 610 the other day and he was saying the elasticity Mahomes has in arms that allows him to play the way he does is something that extends to his whole body which could lend to his injury not being as severe as it looked.

Every Mahome's workout video I have ever watched has him working on that elasticity.
