Yes. Hence our slight hope.

Yes.

We need them to lose to SF and Miami and Miami to lose to Buffalo (or Dallas, I guess) now.

Lamar Jackson's race has nothing to do with his inability to accurately make a pass, I'm afraid.

After 13 game Mahomes is completing 66.9% and Jackson was completing 66.8% of his passes. Our receivers have had drops, and Jackson has played a few games without his #1 target.

Why do you think he isn't accurate? Because you think he is really just a RB?

Ideally, we end up with the #2 seed (getting increasingly likely after tonight) and this garbage Jags team ends up with the #3 seed (quite likely) and somehow win their WC game.

And around the league people have sympathy for him because he plays in Buffalo, he got his heart ripped out by Mahomes, and his WR1 is mean to him.

No one hates Allen. People seem to hate Jackson.

He once led the NFL in TD passes. That's what a QB does. Not a RB.

He won the Heisman, meaning he was the best player in college that year.

He won the MVP in the NFL, meaning he was the best pro player that year.

There is a perception that he isn't smart enough to be a real QB, which is why running is such a big part of his game, and I hate that our fanbase feeds into what I believe is a racist notion like that.

I am sure all sorts of people on here will deny race has any part in their dislike of Lamar, but the truth is if his skin wasn't so dark, his nose wasn't so wide, and his speech wasn't so "urban" people would talk about him differently.

To me, Josh Allen and Lamar Jackson are very similar. They both have great arms, are devastating runners, and sometimes struggle with decision making, and neither will ever be a guy that make a living from the pocket.

And they basically have the same post season rep for not getting it done.

But, Josh Allen gets sympathy, and Lamar Jackson gets criticism and hatred.

Allen played a perfect game against KC and only lost because the head coach screwed the pooch in the final 13 seconds. Lamar has never had a Playoff game like that. Lamar’s coach has won a Super Bowl with a JAG quarterback before Lamar arrived in Baltimore. I don’t think people believe Harbaugh is hurting Lamar’s chances to win, whereas I think many people believe Sean McDermott is hurting Josh Allen’s chances of winning.

This can't possibly be a serious post, right? You think Patrick Mahomes is being asked to do the same thing Lamar Jackson is in his offense?

Kornacki had us at 12 percent with a Balt win

Huh? People hate Allen here way more than Lamar Jackson from what I've seen.

One kinda shitty implication of all of this is that we may well end up playing our starters in what proves to be a meaningless Week 18 game.

Solid chance that the Chiefs enter that week at 11-5 and the Ravens at 12-4. Chiefs (assuming they play first) would still play their starters on the outside chance that the Ravens lose to the Steelers.

Nobody hates Jackson. Jackson got all kinds of sympathy last season not toughing it out and playing seemingly due to the contract issues.

Jesus Christ his passes are awful.

It was going to be pretty hard for there to be a scenario where we wouldn't play our starters in that game. Of course, I suppose we could just lose to the Bengals and you could get your wish.

Don't know where you peruse your content, but the only time I've seen Jackson get legit hate was last year when he effectively held out.
