Michonne also plays a MUCH bigger role in the comic than she has on the show so far, which is sad. |

Ya dude, the comic\show has so many different routes it has taken, yet come back to some of the same main pieces. The show is MUCH MUCH more slow moving than the comics. We're basically half into the third comic (as far as show progression), and there are 16 comics total if that says anything. I love the show and the comics both. Neat following the two variances in the storylines. But would like to see the same characters in each... it seems they've gone their own route with characters... Missing some here, adding others there. Tyresse is the biggest omittance from the comic. He's basically the #2 character for a long while in print, an ex-NFL player and total badass... He basically becomes Rick's best friend. |

seeing that t-dawg had a few lines this season, he'll get offed by seasons end. although i think that the blonde daughter of hershel will actually be the first to go. you know since she really had to camera time last season. |
two things...
1 - I guessed that Michonnes zombies were probably bad dudes...like maybe they raped her or something. good GRIEF! talk about being wrong. sheesh. hate to see how she'd treat bad guys..... 2 - why were none of the head in the jars moving? I didn't notice head wounds....so they should still be dead/alive. |

Well of course the show is going to move more slowly than the comics. They have to be able to fill out a 13 episode season. To date, there's been 22 episodes and you said there's only been 16 comics...... |

im pretty sure this season is 16 episodes, but i could be wrong.

Great episode. Sad, but great.
I didn't like that stupid bitch, but they still managed to pull off an emotional scene. |
So did Carol die? They said so but you never saw her body...
|
I don't know if Carl had the balls to actually shoot her. In the the preview for next week, Rick grabs the Axe and goes running in like a madman. What reason could he have to rush in like that? I'm guessing Carl tells them he couldn't do it, and wound up shooting a round into the ground/wall, so Rick tries to bring her out.

I wouldn't put it past them to **** with us like that... I mean, we all thought the scrawny black prisoner was lunch meat...
|
They can't bring her back. Please don't make us go through her bitching again.
|
Doesn't surprised me if that doesn't happen....that said isn't she toast anyway?
|
Also, what did Lori tell Carl? "Always do what's right, if it doesn't feel right, don't do it. Blah blah blah". I'm guessing Carl took on the responsibility of doing it b/c Maggie might have actually done it.
|
Next week we will see her walk out in perfect health, but just as she opens her mouth to start bitching at Rick again he puts an axe through her forehead.
"She was turning!!!! Swear to God!!!" |

Damn. So sad for Rick at the end there.

On Talking Dead Chris Hardwick said she's dead but I'm pretty sure he knows no spoilers.
|
Ive learned that anytime they dont actually "show you" something, but instead "imply it" in TV, theres usually a reason.
|
Carol is 'dead' too according to the group....but we never saw her either.
Hell, look at Merle |
So...im guessing the search for baby formula will lead them to the Governors compound?

That being said, I liked T dog a lot more this season than the last 2. This bothered me a bit more than if it would've happened at any point last year. This groups keeps getting smaller and smaller and I don't really expect 1 legged Hershel to last much longer. The strongest survive and I think his time is coming. |
I'm guessing Rick is just wanting to get her body so he can bury her.
|
This series is about to get really ****ed up. They always say of the comic that it doesn't have a happy ending. The same goes for the show. I wonder how they're going to do it though, it's swayed so far from the comic at this point that anything can happen.
|
wow.
what a great episode. no sarcasm. shit.hit.fan. (and it's not even getting good yet!!!!!!!!!!) |

us know it alls are gonna be totally left in the dark. |
Lessons learned..
Black male characters should not talk to much, precursor to death.. Two most worthless characters died? Maybe Carol is tending to Lori? At least Tdog went out like a champ.. But why did he not rise? |
Quote:
|
Where was it that T-Dog was trying to lead Carol to? Was it the boiler room? If it was, I wouldn't be surprised if Carol is there tending to Laurie, who is still alive, and Carol had Carl fire off a decoy shot so that people wouldn't risk themselves to come rescue them. That would explain why Carl is handling her 'death' so much better than Rick is (of course, I also am wondering if Carl isn't becoming a little sociopath-in-training).
I was also wondering why they didn't put a bullet in T-Dog's skull as they went by. It's a foregone conclusion that Axel and Oscar will join the group. If nothing else, from a storytelling standpoint, they need a new mechanic. I have not read the comics, so I don't know if this is in it or not, but . . .
Spoiler!
They either have a warehouse full of golf balls, or that's a one-and-done kind of hobby to have. |
They tried to make me feel bad for wishing Lori's death, I love that, lol.
So what did happen in the comics with this? why was Rick crying like a bitch at the end and falling down like that in front of his son? He wasn't even interested in the baby. The way Rick has transformed, it just doesn't make sense. |
and watch the scene when the baby is born, you'll notice she pulls the baby out of her stomach all bloody and shit. Then it shows maggie holding a perfectly clean and much larger baby. Then it goes back to bloody baby.
