Our 17th player is a benefit of the Patrick Mahomes II drafting. Arriving from Washington in the Alex Smith trade, Kendall Fuller has locked down a cornerback spot for us, recording 82 tackles, 2 interceptions, 12 passes defensed, and 1 forced fumble in his inaugural season with us.

Our 18th player is a guy you don't want to collide with. This man looks like a linebacker. Reggie Ragland arrived as a trade bargain, and is finishing his second season with the team. He has recorded 86 tackles, 0.5 sacks, a pass defensed, and one of the best interception returns you'll ever see.

Work hard, play hard. |
Our 19th player out of the tunnel is the man with the golden leg. Harrison Butker appeared out of nowhere last year to become one of the league's best kickers. Need a field goal or an extra point? He's your man. He was the NFL's third-highest scorer this year, and will come through if we need him as he finishes his second season with the team.
|
20th out of the tunnel is a guy who terrifies other team in the pregame warmups. Tanoh Kpassagnon, the world's largest outside linebacker, has appeared in 13 games this year, acquiring four tackles. He'll be there when we need him.
|
|
Our 21st player out of the tunnel is another guy finishing up his 2nd year with the team, and we liked him enough that we traded up to get him. He was worth the price, accounting for 52 touchdowns this year as he changed the face of the NFL en route to a likely NFL MVP award. Let's give a warm welcome to Patrick Mahomes II!

22nd out of the tunnel is a league veteran in his fourth year, and a relatively new addition to the Chiefs. The world's largest wide receiver is Kelvin Benjamin!
|
He's big, he's fast, and he's force in the middle. Xavier Williams is a four-year veteran who joined the Chiefs this year, and he's done his job, recording 46 tackles and 2.5 sacks, along with a forced fumble.
|

He was rumored to be a Chiefs draft pick once, but we instead let him go to Cleveland for training. Then he got called up to the Chiefs and has thrived as an active Mahomes protector at left guard. Let's hear it for Cam Erving!

25th out of the chute is a fifth year player who joined the Chiefs this year. One of the league's top tacklers, Anthony Hitchens has recorded 135 tackles and a forced fumble for the Chiefs this year.

Our 26th player out of the tunnel is one of the key cogs of our offense. Despite missing seven games, Sammy Watkins has recorded 55 receptions for 519 yards, plus another 52 rushing. A fifth-year player, he has found his home with the Chiefs after arriving this year.
|
Coach says crowd should make noise from Huddle to snap when the other team is on offense. That's earlier than the Arrowhead normally cranks it up.
|
Our 27th player is - wait, where is he? He's too fast to see. He's already on the field. Tyreek Hill is finishing his third season with the Chiefs, and the league has no answer for him. 1,479 receiving yards this year and 12 touchdowns in his first season as our #1 receiver, and another 151 yards rushing with a touchdown. And that's not even counting the playoffs. Tyreek is the guy, and a great Chief.

Our 28th player arrived an hour before Tyreek, and is another top-notch wide receiver. Demarcus Robinson helped created the legend of Patrick Mahomes II, and is a great player in his own right, recording 22 receptions in 16 games (5 starts) this season. We can trust him to do his thing.

Also, Benjamin has been a giant bust. |
29th out of the tunnel is another player from the vaunted rookie class of 2016. Eric Murray has filled in for a legend, starting nine games this year, making 55 tackles with 1 interception and 2 passes defensed.

Look for Bellichek to beat up our receivers and tight ends coming off the line in order to throw off Mahomes timing. As you remember this is what he did in his very first Super Bowl win against the Rams in order to stop the greatest show on turf.
|
Aww, no LDT? I'm not sad that he's not starting, but I was hoping he'd be an option for depth.
|
Kind of surprised LDT is inactive.
|
Our 30th player is a headliner, one of the most fearsome inside pass rushers in the league. Chris Jones is an unstoppable defensive tackle for us, and a key factor in the defense's rise to dominance. Get 'em, Chris!

Some players have to wait a while for their big break, and Damien Williams has earned it. A fifth-year player, he joined the Chiefs this year and produced 416 yards in the regular season. He took over after - you know (miming a shove) - and has been a major factor in the Chiefs' playoff push. Damien is going to become a Chiefs legend after this run of games.

A good kicking game requires a kicker, punter, and holder, and our 32nd player out of the gate is part of that. James Winchester has rifled long snaps for the Chiefs for four years, and is also great in punt coverage, recovering a fumble, forcing a fumble, and recording a tackle this season.

Our 33rd player has earned his starting job via hard work and harder hits. Four-year Chiefs veteran Steven Nelson is just the guy we want on this team.

The solid 2015 draft brought us our #3 receiver, Chris Conley. Long and athletic, we can count on this fourth-year Chief to make the catch. He recorded 334 yards of offense in 13 starts this year.

Our 35th player out of the tunnel starts every offensive play. Mitch Morse is a Missouri mauler in the middle, and will protect Patrick today in his fourth season with the Chiefs.
|
My, how time flies. After five seasons with the Chiefs, we can always count on Charcandrick West. His triumphant return to the team late this season added firepower for us as our 36th player out of the tunnel.
|
Quote:
Plus you got chemistry going right now with Wylie...why **** that up? |
The 37th player? You can't talk about Charcandrick West without discussing Spencer Ware. He runs hard, he catches, he levels guys in pass protection. He's a key part of our ground game after - you know (mimics a shove) - and he'll come through in the clutch.

I bet Andy has several plays ready with Tyreek looping behind Mahomes (or lined up at tailback and Kelce out wide towards the sideline). Go ahead and put Hightower on Kelce out of the middle of the field. Watkins will destroy you there just like Kelce would. |
Our 38th player out of the tunnel is a guy who brings toughness and nastiness to the defense. You've gotta love Dirty Dan Sorensen, who's finishing up his fifth season with team. Coming back from injury, he nonetheless added 26 tackles, 2 passes defensed, a fumble recovery, and one of the year's most unusual and entertaining interceptions this year against the Raiders.

The 39th player out of the tunnel is the league's longest-running developmental process. We're talking, of course, about Demetrius Harris, a master at making the difficult catch as he finished his fifth season with the team. Demetrius added 164 yards and 3 touchdowns this year as he backed up the NFL's best tight end.

Our 40th player out of the tunnel will destroy you and then heal you. He has taken a hippocratic oath to do no harm unless you're trying to stop his quarterback or running back. I speak, of course, of LDTMD, the French Canadian doctor, Laurent Duvernay-Tardif. We won't see him today, but he's going to be a fixture on the team going forward as he finishes his fifth season with the team.

41st out of the tunnel is our pass rusher savant, the speed machine, the sack and strip expert, Dee Ford! Playing all 16 games this year, Dee recorded 13 sacks and had an amazing 7 forced fumbles this year, atop 55 tackles. Dee is going to wreak havoc today!

42nd out of the tunnel is our greatest offensive line gift from Cleveland. Seven year veteran Mitchell Schwartz is in his third year with the Chiefs, and is one of our all-pros. He'll keep Patrick Mahomes II from harm and help the running game immensely.

The 43rd man out of the tunnel is in his first year with the Chiefs, but is an 11-year veteran. Joining us after training camp, Orlando Scandrick leapt into the fray and held down a cornerback position all season. He'll give us critical experience and depth in the postseason.
|
WTF is McVay doing?
|
And now a big hand for our most senior Chiefs! #10 on our list is the player so nice, we signed him twice. Making his second run with the Chiefs, Jeff Allen was drafted by us in 2012 and then resigned this year, which resulted in some great tickets for a homeless guy.
