LB is the one place we have a lot of depth. It would be nice if Edwards can play. Then Conner can help out from that slot/safety role. |
I’ve been cruising the OF pages of women of Baltimore. They all have one identifying feature so far in that their south mouths all look like they have Bell’s palsy.
I really like Chantal in run support but for some reason he makes me nervous as a coverage backer. He’s done fine, but maybe he doesn’t look the part of that job they way the other guys do. |
Just listened to Nate Taylor. Gay, Edwards and Pacheco are definitely playing.
Question with Gay is how long he lasts. |

Edwards alone wil be big. |

Chiefs seem much more prepared if Gay has to exit early compared to last week.

Any thoughts Clayster?!!!!

This is why the bye is such a huge deal.
Just 1 less game is 1 less injury chance |
It will be really interesting to see what formations the Ravens roll with and how the Chiefs counter them.
If the Ravens are running 12 with Likely out there, I'm pretty set with running nickel against that, whether it's the big nickel with Conner as the 5th DB or the traditional nickel with Williams on the field (I really like how Williams matches up against Bateman and Beckham). I think KC's big nickel set, with Conner on the field and the S being used interchangeably, is probably the best option. I would just treat Likely like a WR, unless Gay really is a full-go. You have more speed on the field (presumably LBs are Bolton and Tranquill in that set), which should give you the best chance against Jackson when he gets in the open field. |
Sneed is going to have OBJ and/or Flowers in hell. Can't wait to watch those guys experience real press coverage for the first time this year.

They’re gonna gouge the chiefs with the run or atleast try to.

We have no chance fellas. Anyone up for a Sex and the City marathon instead. Probably not even worth watching this slaughter…

I just don’t get why they’re dismissing the second best defense in the league. I hope the boys are seeing all this shit! We’re gonna burn Baltimore to the ground on the way to the SB!

There is one question I have. Who do we put on Mark Andrews? That's the toughest match up we have in the whole game. |
I'm sure Spags has been studying those Steelers losses earlier in the season to find how the stool were able to shut down Lamar and the rat offense on two seperate ocassions. The blueprint is out there.

If we make the SB, we have to deal with Laporta, or even worse, Kittle. |
Rams and Browns scored 30+ points on this so called "nr.1" defense. This Chiefs defense has yet to allow 30 points in a game. And it has played against top level offenses like the Bills, Packers, Dolphins, Lions and Vikings.

Chiefs will. And one of them might be on defense. |
Re: Andrews, my first thought is Conner or Sneed. If he’s 100 percent, which I sincerely doubt.

Mike and Justin holding down Safety, Connor as a LB-hybrid spy, then Sneed and McDuffie with Watson/Williams at the corner spots. You'd still be able to run combos of Danna, Jones, Karlaftis, Omenihu and Pennell to hold the run down and still generate pressure. Nick and Drue rotating as the 11th man in the middle holding it down. |

Seems pretty similar gameplan wise. |
Who has GDT starter?

I think Neil Farrell might be trying to tell us something here: https://x.com/realspillneil/status/1...370534739?s=46

It’s gonna be sim pressure + blitz city Sunday from Spags. Plays right into his hand.
Lamar has done his worst work this year vs. 2-high and/or the blitz. Guess what KC does a lot of that with? Sim looks |

It's a lot easier to focus on the run against Lamar as opposed to Allen. You understand that, right? |
The bottom line, what it all comes down to. They should ask these people so high on Baltimore.
Would you rather have A. Patrick Mahomes, Andy Reid, and the number 2 defense Or B. Lamar Jackson, John Harbaugh, and the number 1 defense If most people are being honest, and not homering it up. That’s the easiest question in the world. Gonna be the biggest game of Lamar’s career, it’s like top 4-5 for Mahomes! We know what he does under pressure. I have a really good feeling, we’re going to Vegas! |
Chiefs football is better than Ravens football.

Starting to get nervous. So close.

It's almost as if you'd play somebody like Josh Allen differently. |
Yeah that one’s pretty simple..
No one goes into a game against Baltimore and thinks the first thing they have to prioritize is their passing game. No one goes into a a game against Buffalo and thinks the first thing they have to prioritize is their running game. Both teams/quarterbacks can do both, but the units aren’t really the same at all. |

Spagnuolo changed the rushing lanes for the defensive linemen, a move designed to keep Allen in the pocket. He had the secondary play more zone coverage than usual to keep its collective eye on the quarterback and his pass catchers. Spagnualo used his linebackers in simulated pressures and called more run blitzes on first down. “We made some (pre-snap) checks that we never practiced,” safety Justin Reid said. “We put them in at halftime and went out and executed them on the field. It made all the difference.” “We fixed the things that needed to be fixed,” linebacker Drue Tranquill said. |
Why is Collinsworth/Romo on the Chiefs side? Put those f****** over on the other end.

2022, Bengals -- big nasty nut 2021, Bengals -- You 2020, Bills -- You 2019, Titans -- You 2018, Patriots -- 007 So, in both instances, whether you look at back to back AFCCGs in '20 and '21 or :13 followed by the AFCCG... you started the Bills thread and then lost next time. Back to back wins this time of year is tough. Also, 2-1 overall. To answer your question...... LoneWolf had the balls to call his shot and take over GDTs in December, so I'd nominate him. |

You know, when someone fumbles or drops a pass... Andy Reid dials up another play for them. Get that confidence back. So, big nasty getting another go makes a lot of sense. (just..... don't do what Hardman did on his 2nd chance and you'll be fine.....) |

Looking at Baltimores schedule, the best qb they played may have been jared goff. Lmao.

Still not worried. We will actually put this team away early in the fourth quarter unlike the last game.

Chiefs vs the world... |
Gentlemen and whatever the ravens fans identify as, I’ve spent the last two days plowing through all2,793 posts in this thread (for superstitious reasons) and I’ve come to the conclusion that I want the chiefs to beat the Lamar the savant Jackson and make that one guys three year old cry.

Making his dad cry in front of him should be the goal. |
Gronk playing his role trying to get the money rolling in on Baltimore.
Anyone who understands football knows the Chiefs are winning. |
Hey guys the Chiefs are on NFL network. They are leading 35-24 they have the Ravens just were they want them. Lamar has to throw to get the Ravems back in the game. Guess its over now.
