I expressed my feelings about Avery and how he could be a good WR with Alex. So far my analysis of that was correct. I slowly found myself having to deal with a lot of negative comments from people who absolutely thought KC would struggle and be lucky to win 6 games. I kept saying I thought this team had a chance to be special and so far so good on that too. Everyone has their opinion but those guys over there think they know for a fact that theirs are true no matter how much proof you show them. Whatever though, the whole thing is ridiculous and I don't even know why I even bother.

It's almost like religion.

LMAO all of your gut wrenching bile for Axl and you think we beat them on the road?

I like the split part, just the other way around.

It's happened many times before. We do it with Oakland regularly. Our division games aren't like yours, brah.

Gotta give props to Alex. This is a perfect ball. If it's thrown to the other shoulder, it might be a pick.

HOLY SHIT he even didn't go with the checkdown. Hmm, actually, is that Charles? The Checkdown might've been the better move, he could've taken off down the sideline. Oh, no just saw it was a 2 not a 5, so McCluster? Then good play Alex. Now if he'd do that with Bowe and we'd get to see him throw some 'bows to clear out those d-backs and take off for another 20-30 yards.

That was the bullet pass to Avery on 3rd and 10 from their own 5.

Nice. Any chance of getting that Chad Hall endzone pass incompletion?

I didn't want Alex Smith but I excepted it and now it's growing on me. I was wondering though, is Detroit in a SB window now since they did draft Stafford a few years back?

For 3 1/2 quarters Smith played like the biggest vag in sports. I've never seen a QB so petrified to throw the ball downfield. Forget about forcing the ball into a tight spot, he won't risk a throw to a receiver if there is a DB within 4 yards.

But, when they needed him to step up - he did. He finally made the throws he had to at the end. It was nice, too bad he doesn't have the confidence to do it a full game.

I think he played it right. We came away with the win, and no turnovers, unlike the other QB (who isn't afraid to throw it down field, but turns it over a lot).

Winning is the only thing that is important. Passing yards only matter in FF. I'll take a QB that doesn't throw long very often but wins over one that throws long and loses any day of the week.

I think the poster you quoted just wanted some quick attention and knew how to get it. ;)

... and of course, I agree with you.
