They got better things to do than post online, like invent nasty recipes that **** up perfectly good foods.

DALLAS! Great stadium, tons of hotels, easy transportation access, fun city.

FloridaMan88 01-06-2023 07:09 PM

Cincy’s board has quite the defeatist mentality. LMAO

How would you feel if it played out where KC/BUF had to play the AFC Championship game at a neutral site and they choose Cincy?

We lost close games to the two other best teams in our conference, and the third game was a close loss on a taunting call. Buffalo lost to two .500 teams and got shut out by Carolina. The Bengals lost 4 games, one of which was a 19 point loss to Cleveland.

That's exactly right. It's also why it's bullshit that, should Cincy and Baltimore be the #3 and #6 team, a coin-flip will decide which stadium they play in, which is to address the supposed inequity that the Ravens would have beaten the Bengals twice but don't have a better winning percentage. The only ****in' way the Ravens would have had at least as good a winning percentage as the Bengals would be for the Bengals to have lost against Buffalo, which didn't happen. If a division winner got beat twice by the second-best team (by winning percentage) in their division, they are still the ****in' division winner, because that means against the other teams the two teams played, the division winner won 3 more ****in' games. Cincy having to risk that coin-flip is nonsense. It's also nonsense, though, that they get to have a coin-flip in the unlikely event that the Chiefs and Bengals face each other in the conference championship, as that pretends that the Bengals actually beat the Bills if one looks at winning percentage to decide conference standings, which has always been the way it's been done.

The writing is on the wall and the NFL wants the Bengals as disadvantaged as possible in the postseason. A return to the Super Bowl is a nightmare to many outside Cincinnati.

Cincinnati is a smaller market and wildly unpopular with the national sports media.

Denver has also refused to host the AFCCG in support for Hamlin, should the Broncos make it that far. Very noble.

Random idea,

But what about Arrowhead Stadium for the AFC Championship game?

I have identified a neutral site - rarely used Sparrowhead Stadium.

It's not even in Kansas City. VERY neutral.

It's too bad that they're not a supportive safe space like chiefsplanet.

Hard to believe the Bengals are likely going to Orchard Park for the divisional rd.

They should have had that be a neutral site

Do the right thing, get hosed.

It's absolutely terrible that the NFL chose to set that precedent but it is a clear lesson for teams going forward.

If anything like that, god forbid, ever happens again and we are the opposing team, the Chiefs should be instructed to stay on the field and let the other team make the call to forfeit.

The Bengals did the right thing and got absolutely screwed. Watch, learn and make a better decision next time.
