Probably not totally a result of the fast, but my wife dropped 3 pounds since her last weigh in. I'd say she'll probably continue ADF, heh.

I thought your wife was already a hardbody? Watch it or her bony hips will be injuring you.

She's pretty damned fit, but she struggles with her ass and legs. Just like us, she always feels there is room for improvement. Her main problem is that she's weight obsessed instead of being shape obsessed... so if her weight bumps up 2-3 pounds, she flips out and gets all down on herself.

As a testament to her fitness, one of her body pump instructors said they wanted to do a class at a new time during the week, but they don't have a teacher for it. They offered to certify her so she could teach it. That's funny, though, because she's super quiet and somewhat shy socially.... so the thought of her teaching a bodypump class cracked us both up.

Well, it has been almost a week. It will be a week tomorrow, so I am getting geared up. Shoulder feels good..... but I haven't been putting any pressure on it, so we'll see.

Diet has went in the crapper though. I should have been even more focused, but I haven't been as motivated about the diet when I am not working out.

Well I am at 40 pounds lost in 10 weeks. I put my belt on this morning and I found that I needed a hole that wasn't there. What a great feeling. The downside is that I am swimming in my clothes, none of them fit. I am still another 35 pounds from my goal so I don't want to buy a lot of new clothes before I reach that goal for fear I would just have to do it again. I did buy one pair of jeans that fit though in a size I haven't worn since I got married 9 years ago.

Congrats! And welcome to my life. I'm getting ready to scrap my 3rd set of clothes I've bought in the last couple of years. Luckily I found some stuff in storage that I bought a couple of years ago for "when I got to my goal weight". Funny that my goal weight at 450 was 250-270. Now that I'm at 270 I can tell you that this is definitely NOT my goal weight. :)

It is a great feeling though. You've worked awful hard to get here. Savor it.

I hear you. I started at 265 and my goal weight was 200. Now that I'm at 225 my goal weight is 185. I don't really think i wanna be thinner than that though. Also about the working hard thing, I really haven't I mainly have just been losing weight due to diet.

Hey, that's work in itself. For me, I love to eat those foods too much so I work my ass off to be able to do it and still lose. This has been going on for so long for me though, that I've done it just about every way imaginable. Running and fast food, to running and rabbit food.

That's badass! I bought new clothes & 3 weeks later I was getting them tailored and buying more. The $$$ sucked, but I was happy to do it!

got a good one in tonight. my workouts are good, my sleep is good, but honestly my whole food choices are kinda crappy. Gotta work on that.

Silock 06-17-2010 08:47 PM

Don't worry too much about your food choices unless you're gaining fat.

LetsSignRussell 06-17-2010 08:49 PM

I like hearing that.

Mr. Flopnuts 06-17-2010 09:06 PM

It's ridiculous what I get away with eating while losing weight. I'm taking less and less stock in everything other than total calories every day. Eat what you enjoy. Take a multi vitamin. You'll be fine.
