I heard on the radio that ford was out. Like right as the tournament started.

We have no idea that Maryland or Cali even makes it to us. Shit happens in the tournament.

I heard one of them say there is some NCAA rule that you can't play a team 4 times before the elite 8 so depending on the various matchups in the conference tourney you couldn't be bracketed with certain teams.

Why? KU owns the Big 12. I'd much rather play those schools that we're already prepared for and know how to beat than ones we aren't.

It is incredibly difficult to beat a team 3 times (or even 4 times) in a season.

For the record, this is how the committee handles teams from the same conference.

The '88 team is very thankful for that.

As far as I can tell, the times for the Saturday games are TBD. Anyone know the times or when they will be announced?

I'd assume when the Thursday games end and they know who will be playing in them.

Earlier today I saw a link with the Sat/Sun game times included, but without the teams or any other info. I can't find that link now for some reason.

The times are evening-oriented. IIRC the first game was at Noon with the 2nd game not starting until 2:30, and multiple games didn't really get going until about 4 or 5pm.

I don't think the law of averages applies to sports games...

Yeah, I think it's normally announced late Thursday and Friday, pretty soon after the last game is over each night.

A lot of pundits picking KU to lose to either UCONN/Colorado.

Not surprising, I guess... UConn will get the benefit of the doubt and a lot of people will simply say they can't trust Kansas, even if they were missing their most important player two years ago and have actually toughened up this year (unlike last year). Last night though, a couple of the ESPN people had KU in the NC game, one had them winning it... I think about half the CBS guys had them in the FInal Four.

Every analyst on this CBS network bracket show I just watched picked KU to be in the FF and everyone of them picked them to lose to MSU lol.

Call me nuts, but I wanna another shot at MSU.

I'm just going to enjoy the ride, and hopefully the games. I'm beyond having expectations for the tournament. The last time I did, I ended up hating Aaron Aflallo with every fiber of my being.
