Well, I am so oh so happy asked and oh so sorry nobody has answered your question. But you're in luck I googled the guy. It turns out our NCAA Tourney Committee Chair, Chris Reynolds, was an Indiana BB player from 1989 - 1991. In 2 of those years, 1991 & 1993, KU played Indiana in the NCAA Tourney. In both instances KU beat Indiana on their way to the Final 4. (NOTE: Indiana did reach the Final 4 in 1992, the year KU got "UTEP"ed.)

As for your second question, I have no idea, but based on what I found I think he was willing to do it for free.

Maybe if your fraudulent team hadn’t gotten bent over by Texas yesterday then you would’ve earned the right to go back to KC?

Well yeah, on offense he will look great.

If he could just chill out in the corner for 35 minutes a game that would be great.

But you don't get to play offense 35 minutes a game, last I checked...

Nah, they'd just have come up with some other nonsense justification to do what they did anyway. Houston literally got beaten down by a much worse Memphis team today.

Our final three games to win the title last year

10 Miami
2 Novq (after they lost a good starter)
8 UNC

So we have caught breaks before obv

The tournament is about catching breaks. Just like any other sports postseason.

You all are freaking out now, but I’m sure it won’t end up being as bad of a path as you expect.

Ironically in the NBA you often do because they aren't playing defense for about 3 quarters of most of those games.

Again, though, if Gradey Dick can manage to not look out of place on an elite Bill Self defensive team, he'll manage in the NBA.

Even if our bracket goes chalk I'm loving it

Not freaking out but the potential of it is there to be difficult and looking at it on paper it is more difficult than the other three regions, with that being said it is what it is.

Yeah, I mean we can talk about the path but it’ll never be what we expect.

We could lose early and clear the path for Gonzaga or someone like that. We could look like we’re on a collision course with UCLA, and then neither makes it.

Happens every year like this.

No. I'm just trying to think of the last time I saw this energy from KU. It's been a minute.

Who let this trash in our thread?

BWillie 03-12-2023 09:29 PM

If we face Arkansas it won't be more than a -1 or 1.5 for KU.

We also may be the first 1 seed in history that will be a dog in a #1 vs #4 game.
