Yes. This was payback for it.

Beltran with 2 3 run HR's tonight. Mozeliak is just striking gold left and right.

Walt Jockety is doing what in Cincy? He just signed Votto to how much$?

kcpasco 05-02-2012 07:44 PM

HAHAHA

Molina sold that foul tip. That's funny shit right there.

Speaking of Freese, he was at his old high school Monday visiting the baseball team. I was there for a tennis tournament - dude signed autographs for what must have been an hour and a half. I didn't see him turn anyone away.

The Braves are worse than the Chiefs.

Simply Red 05-02-2012 08:14 PM

The Braves are AWESOME!

Simply Red 05-02-2012 08:16 PM

Simply Red 05-02-2012 08:16 PM

A girl I work with met him late last year in St. Louis at a club. She said he was doing his best to hide in the shadows, but was very nice to everybody who came up to him. Seems like an awesome kid. :thumb:

6 pitches and 4 earned runs. Thats got to be some kind of record.

That Braves/Phillies game is a mess. 13-13 in the top of the 10th. The wife is watching downstairs and about to have a coronary. :D

I love the fact that during the World Series, the eventual World Series MVP was staying at a friend's house on his couch because his house didn't have cable yet.

From todays article in the SPD - Matt Holliday has officially heated up, batting .333 with three homers and 13 RBIs in his last 12 games.

Good article with some pretty funny jabs at AP.

"Pujols’ de facto replacement, Carlos Beltran, had two homers and seven RBIs in the first three innings Wednesday. Compare that to Pujols, who had no homers and five RBIs in his first 205 innings this season. Disneyland is down the street from the Angels’ ballpark; I’m guessing we’ll soon find Moreno boarding the "California Screamin" ride at the amusement park.
The gracious Beltran is such a class act, he’ll probably donate a few of his homers and RBIs to the Pujols Family Foundation."

I hate that Larussa gave up on the chance to sweep on getaway games. Looks like Matheny is taking the same approach. Rolled out the "B" lineup and lost.

The only saving grace is their theory of its a 162 game season and that players need to be rested or they dont have the strength to make a stretch run at the end or any gas left in the tank for the playoffs.

That approach certaintly worked out well last year. :hmmm:
