Two observations...

1) first team offense looked veeery sharp for a first preseason game

2) the team as a whole has been sharp, dont think we've been penalized even once yet

Team still not ready to run a hurry-up offense.


In Reid's mind "we're ready to go!"

Not impressed at all with Bray.

Will he throw the ball into the endzone from the opponent's 45 on an untimed down to end a half?

If yes, then I agree.

So in your mind sharp is no penalties?

Defense has looked like ass except for a few plays(peters int etc)

Moses should get a chance to run with the 1's


secondary can't even cover for 2 seconds

Preseason vanilla defenses and with so many guys not starting isn't going to give you much to glean about the unit except that it's pretty obvious that our depth on offense is stronger than on D. Run D looks spotty with some cleaning up very necessary.

Pass rush can't legitimately get a grade as they've shown nothing more than what you'd get in the Pro Bowl.

O-line looks fantastic. Regardless of who they keep, this group of receivers are better than anything this franchise has put on the field in a LONG LONG time.

Getting Foles was a wise insurance policy. It's obvious Smith is going to be key, and Foles, having just joined the team, didn't show much as he's getting up to speed. I saw a few things to really like outta Bray's play, but you gotta love having a proven performer at backup. I still think Bray as your number 3 is the ideal situation. Let him continue to be groomed .

The first team front 7 was worrisome, getting run over by a mediocre line like they were, wasnt expecting that at all

But yeah, the first preseason game for any team is usually sloppy as hell with false starts and penalties galore... all in all they have looked sharp I would say

Depending on what Murray shows. He was a mechanical mess in last preseason so hopefully he's worked those out. Will be interesting to see. Bray didn't flash anything today and that's kind of concerning.
