Don't get me wrong...I think Watson could lead this team to a crapton of wins. He would fit right in with this team and I love his attitude and competitive spirit.

I just think he's gonna hit his ceiling early in his career and I'm not sure that ceiling is enough to win a title with.

Andy Reid seems to be in love with Watson, though...so who knows?

Maybe Watson is our Dak Prescott/Russel Wilson.

I wanted Garcia.

(Thought you'd get some satisfaction out of that.)

LOL. He was the last left tackle on my board. Johnson isn't going to cut it on that side IMO.

Rain, where have you been all these years? You're a breath of fresh air. Nice view, BTW. Where are you?

Yeah he's borderline to me, but he's been effective there against the top defenses in CFB. Obviously I preferred Garcia though. "Good" news for me is that Carolina blows at both tackles in case it doesn't work out.

Draft is updated and 3rd round is up.

I'm quite busy the rest of the day. Can only manage occasional check-ins on my phone. You may want to PM picks to another owner if you need to do that.

Continuing with our 'set up next year's QB to succeed' plan, the 49ers see a no-brainer on the board here.

Zay Jones, WR - Eastern Carolina

Bit raw coming from a small school but every tool you could want in a wideout. A big, massively productive hands-catcher that will be a fantastic security blanket. A high character guy from a football family (noticing a trend here); teaming him with McCaffrey will give the 49ers an excellent start in gathering up weapons for their eventual QBOTF.

I'm not gonna lie - I love this pick for the 49ers. Long game, John. Gotta stick with the long game, buddy.

I hope to hell that our division rivals don't have the drafts they are having in this mock.

So are you actually on board drafting Mahomes, and merely post that ArrowheadAddict article in the thread about Mahomes for information, or do you not like Mahomes?

I don't particularly agree with that article's breakdown, I think there's alot of bad film analysis in there based on watching the same thing.

Thanks Billay. I did agree with him on one thing, Coutee is a very good receiver.

With the 68th pick in the NFL draft, the Jacksonville Jaguars select Desmond King, CB, Iowa

Jags spent a lot of money on A.J. Bouye to play opposite of Jalen Ramsey, but don't have any depth to speak of. King has slid down the draft board because of his size, but he's a great fit for Jacksonville where he can nail down the nickel spot from day one, and if needed start at CB or transform into a Saftey. He also gives the Jags a nice return man.

This might not be a sexy pick, but getting a guy in the third that is ready to start is a steel.

I have him as a safety, so I like it.

My rookie qb looked like stank ass last year because he had no one to throw to and the ol was meh. I don't like the ol value here but I'm gonna try and load up on skill guys

The LA Rams select Gerald Everett, TE South Alabama
