Bottom line there more going on with Hunt in that locker room then just this. It will come out in like 6 months

He punched a guy in the face who hadn't thrown a punch at him. Thats assault. People go to jail for that. Evidently, NFL players get to violate the law as long as they are not charged or there isn't video. That was after this video and events took place. I'm sure the Chiefs talked with him after the Feb. incident and said to chill out. Then they find out he's lied to them? Last straw. :hmmm:

Maybe so. I hadn't looked at it from that perspective.

I am just as disappointed as anyone else. If anybody thinks the league was going to let Kareem play another snap this year you are sadly mistaken. Could the team have kept Kareem and waited for the investigation and eventual suspension play out? Certainly but at what price?

Unlike Kaepernick, Kareem has the talent to have his behavior overlooked. Someone will give him another shot and it's going to hurt like hell to see it. It will be someone we despise.

My bet is someone signs him but he won't play until at the minimum midway next season.

Yea maybe so but players tend to react in odd ways. They could easily view this as the team had no issue with it when it happened and as soon as the going got a bit rocky they cut bait.

Players don't like playing for teams they don't think have their backs.

I think he gets a year suspension because of his history. So we lost a year of Hunt, sucks but it is what it is.

You will probably never know....they are putting all of this on Hunt to save face when in reality it makes them look bad for not caring until I dunno yesterday.

That could be, I was counting this as his first which I believe is a 6 game suspension per league policy. Lifetime for the 2nd.
