So....Deshaun Watson to the Browns? Is that what this is about?

I’ve decided I dont actually dislike Baker. He’s a pissant, but I’d like him if he were OUR pissant. And he does leave everything on the field - he’s just not a great player.

But a franchise could do a lot worse and the Browns HAVE. He’s sort of a modern era Bernie Kosar in a lot of ways.

Agreed. There isn’t anything they’re worth hyping but I don’t hate.

So... why is he saying goodbye, exactly? What did I miss?

Red Dawg 03-15-2022 09:38 PM

Nothing to see here. Baker is still the king of douchebags. An average QB that thinks he's amazing

He’s jealous that the Browns are massaging their interest in Watson.

If Baker was an average quarterback then he would not take the Browns to the playoffs and upset the Steelers in the playoffs

Browns might trade Baker even if Browns do not get Watson

While he isn’t a world burner on the field, he gets a little boneheaded and a little too cocky for the “total package” idea. The kid has some moxie and plays his heart out.

That is sad on every level.

New Cleveland PR campaign: “What happens in Cleveland, goes viral.” (Co-spokesmen will be Baker Mayfield and Kareem Hunt.)

I feel like there’s a good joke in here somewhere about him playing for the Browns and butthole massages.

Let me think about it and report back.

Some spectacular tits though.

If I would be Baker, I‘ll try to get a trade to the Colts.

It's a team game and Big Ben played like ass that playoff game.

Mayfield is absolutely average. Different positions but just like CEH, he's not bad, but he doesn't do anything special.

Sometimes you need the right environment to succeed. Brady was labeled average, but due to being in the right place with the right HC and people around him, he slowly succeeded and transformed into the GOAT. I’m not saying Baker can and will go the same way down, but Cleveland is shithole and Baker needs a clean start somewhere else. An average QB can still be a success in the NFL.
