FTFY

If Hollywood is playing there's nothing stopping Mahomes from playing, he could keel over and he'd awaken the next day as some kind of Lich that can scramble to complete a 4th down

Would like to see 15 sit this week, but I doubt that happens. Wonder what the brain trust in Houston is thinking…

I doubt they're too concerned. They are locked in to 3 or 4.

A smart coach would have his best players on pitch counts and play vanilla schemes going into a game like this.

Texans are 2nd overall in sacks. That in addition to the o-line issues & a gimpy PMII puts me in a Carson kinda mood. :) We’ll know soon enough.

The Texans sacks have come in bunches.

45 in 14 games.

33 of those came in 6 games. 12 in the other 8 games.

Hell, 1/3 of their total came from just 2 games.

Granted, the Chiefs have been prone to sacks lately. The Jags, though, have allowed 27 sacks on the season, but only 1 in two games combined against the Texans.

Houston could sack Mahomes 5 times. They’re also prone to no-showing though.

FWIW my dad commented on some Chiefs post "I suspect he will play." His comment was liked by Xavier Worthy and Gracie Hunt.

If PM II was healthy, I wouldn’t be concerned. But in his present condition, and on the cusp of the playoffs: there’s an argument to be made for resting him.

Matt Derrick actually had the nerve to go on youtube today and say "there's no such thing as a minor high ankle sprain" and "he expects Wentz to play because he was brought out to speak". Smh some of these Chiefs beat guys are stupid aren't they?

There's a grade one mild ankle sprain and there's a grade two severe ankle sprain. How the hell does he not know that? Pat literally spelt it out in his press conference.

Yeah, get the #1 seed and rest the whole team.

I don’t understand resting him if he can play , if we lose vs the Texans it guarantees he has to o play week 18 .
